Servicing PK sounds wrong in many ways....

Servicing is subjective in many ways. But we are talking about bikes here.. down to the details,

 

For myself.

 

1. Since ta 200 do not have an oil filter, change oil every 2 000km. If on a budget, use nasa 10w40 $10. If bolt is rounded, change it at $5.

 

2. Normal spark plug change at 4 000km because starting to have to press the electric start slightly longer. $5 ngk

 

3. Check air filter every 10 000 km. If torn, change. If clean, just blow. $15 new. $5 to clean.

 

4. Use ur own instinct if your brake pads needs a change. Honda oem $15. If not,ask him to use the air gun to blow your braking discs.

 

5. Bleeding fluid suggested on bottle every 2 years bleed and change. $10 per side(2 sides)

 

6. Change when your tyre when the middle of the thread is less than 2mm or every 2 years.

 

7. Lube your chain with gear oil or commercial chain lubricants every 300km

 

8. If you fail to lubricate your chain or you make sudden accelerations times too often, chain will slack so get it tightened. If the teeth of the sprocket is sharp or broken off ; or the chain is too stretched, get it changed at $140. While you are at it, change your roller $10.

 

9. If your fork starts leaking oil, get it changed.. around $70.

 

That should be about it

 

Dun have to wash carb la. clear carbon la. easy bike to maintain over all

fc normal....if whack around 35km/l...if normal riding 80-90km/h normally hit 38-40km/l...if ride below 80kph cn reach above 40km/l...yours about the same too right?

my TA200 jus had a problem today.

when i press on the clutch to gear 2 the clutch suddenly like got someth break and the whole clutch turns v.loose and cant clutch in to change gear anymore.

 

izzit tat my clutch lever break or someth? anyone noe?

and how much is the repair for tat ?

help my bike plz

fc normal....if whack around 35km/l...if normal riding 80-90km/h normally hit 38-40km/l...if ride below 80kph cn reach above 40km/l...yours about the same too right?

 

Different bikes are different. Mine is a Fv plate. Narrow pipe type. Did modifications like a wide handlebar that has bad aerodynamics, big ass rear box and a saddlebags doesnt help that im a 1.8m bodybuilder and pillion my gf around alot. Wack 30km/hr. Best i did was 34.5 but a mix of riding patterns.

Sent to ahchong at planet. You might want to call for a tow. Depending on the damage done. It could just be the cable.

Is yours a ta200 or 150? Overhaul is about 400. If ta150 is common.

btw issit common that the needle of phantom's speedometer is fragile? mine broke already and is there anyway that i can replace it?
