now we're talking! usually we meet on friday night about 9.30pm at jurong bird park entrance, which is along jalan ibrahim. do check out the friday outing thread... since its wednesday the outing is going to be confirmed very soon! how can a phantom rider not go for a phantom knights outing lol

its not far... really! I stay in Tampines. at night when the expressways are empty after the outing, I take only 20 minutes to ride from 2nd link back home :cheeky:

 

and coming from a bigger country (anyway how many countries are smaller than SG? lol), SG is really quite small... dun complain about the distance!

when its late at night when the roads are clear I usually travel at 130km/h... but of course I travel much slower in the day... wow you study at ntu... I'm just so hopeless..

dun go so fast bro. license is precious. since u still newbie rider, it's not easy for you to spot traps etc.

 

130 is kantong ya. 40km over highest legal speed limit oredi.

hi guys. just wanna check. i change my air suction ( i dunno wat is that also ) for $75, air filter for $15, Spark plug for $10 and servicing of carb for $25. did i kena chop? i noe the price of air filter and spark plug but air suction and the servicing? did i kena chop? just wanna check

anyone needs it, just come over buy it. $6 for a pair of the brackets, comes in matt black paint (aluminium, no rusts).

yesterday wen to Planet, the mechanic dam good...so far i asked 2 mechanic from different workshop & they give me different viewed..but dis guy...SOLID..i informed him how the bike feel..he test the bike charge me $120 for changing the choke cable, timing chain adjuster & (no sure wat he change ..forgot to asked him) total 3 items...i was thinking that i need to overhaul the bike due ticking sound from the engine & the bike could not idle properly...but this mechanic save my money ..

 

Sounds like my problem which has been reticified there as well...

that... would depend on what kind of aftermarket mod you can find... price not too sure... not even sure if it can be used on a phantom gearbox

 

maybe you can try the pmo forums... or contacts shops directly...?

I think... I would suggest scrapyard...

 

I doubt anyone would sell just the rubber part...

some time on highway i not sure which gear i am on so when there is a clear stretch with no vehicle behind me i would cruise in free wheeling then find out what gear i'm on haha

 

anyway i'm going off topic liao :dot: :p

ride long enough u wont have this prob le....u'll know when and wat gear ur in once u ride long enuff, by feeling n looking at speedometer....
