im using the magnets on my X1 as well

transfered them over from my ex-KRR

used 2x2 and 1x1

not too able to feel any difference before or after

maybe got used to it already

U can use original size of tyres and travel not more than 80km/h

Give u 1 power tip. Do not go at full throttle.

 

Full throttle = waste energy

Half to 3/4 throttle for best energy efficiency.

 

Dun know abt Wave's top speed but my Magic's only slightly above 100km/h and I guess Wave's also a bit higher nia(110cc vs 125cc). I ride at 60km/h can get above 50km/l on 92 unleaded petrol liao. Ride at 80-90km/h 1/3 of the time period between top up then fall below 50km/l. I cheapskate so I use 92 unleaded and ride slow slow. In fact I so cheapskate that I dun pay season parking/coupons and park in corners of buildings. See V power petrol price my heart stop for a millisecond liao.

oo thats y u can get the mileage 159.. haha.. i travelled around 80-100.. sometimes with pillion somemore.. i think my mileage should be ard there if i travelled less than 80..

Depends.......around 40Km i think......depends on mods and tires sizes too.......

40 to the liter... if u dare... try to ride 80km/h and below... and ride until ur fuel meter until beyond the red line... u should be able to get 50 to the liter.. i have tried it already... btw.. my spockets and tyre change liao.. to bigger 1... if urs is ori.. then should be no prob getting 50...

Once it's at the last bar (it will auto blink), take note of the ODO and standby a small bottle of petrol since you have box mah....ride until bike cannot go (engine die off) and see the ODO.

 

I tends to use the last bar to gauge another 40km, so far so good. My fuel consumption based on my calculations avgs at 45km/L, for normal riding (sometimes full throttle when feel like it or need to). If ride 80km average, it's 50km/L....no point, because only 5km/L more. I rather ride happily and save time then petrol.

 

But Mich's Wave I blinking, he clock 20+km bike die already.....dunno why.

Dun worry!!! It's recommended min 91RON, so as long as you dun pump diseal, any petrol grade is fine.

 

In States, the highest Octane is only 93. Coverttes, BMWs, Firebirds, Vipers, A Spec WRX, A Spec Evo7 can still run very very fast. Wave is an economical bike. She will not give you attitude should you feed her cheaper petroleum.

My last experience before i push the bike to petrol kiosk is last bar blinking is 33km then dry up liao. Cannot start so bo pien lan lan push to petrol kiosk lor... The next time when it is 2 bars start blinking only I know I can go another 30km without stalling. Meaning I MUST find a petrol kiosk within the 30km specs. If don hav I just got another 3km to spare me to the next petrol kiosk. If not or don have? Then

yeah......today i checked....normal riding, sometimes pull only....i got 42km/litre... not too bad le.....heh maybe tmr go first motor ask seng help me wash carb! probably will improve milege again!

I have a month old X1.Already clock 2000km+.

A little disappointed on the xpressway hitting 80-90kmh.The bike is like telling me "don't throttle anymore,I can't take it".Any bros out there can help me on enhancements suitable for X1.
