depends on what u have modded.... i once used the keihin flatslide carb, consumption was terrible. about 20km/ltr niah! same as S4 consumption. :giddy:

full tank about 60+ to 70km need to top up liao.....

hello, i was thinking of changing to a keihin racing carb.

The consumption really that bad? how about the pickup/top speed?

Heard keihin gear 3 can go faster than stock wave gear 4...but curious whats the top speed like? I adjust carb alittle...top speed 120

if 20kmpl i think i'll give keihin carb a miss

go for the keihin carb, but not the flatslide one. throttle response a lot better, and acceleration to top speed or roll on anytime better by a lot. but downside is the fuel consumption.... every 60-70km have to top up once.

thx...

aww in that case i dun think i will install liaoz..thats unless i can find ways to expand the current fuel capacity.

say how about adding mothballs/broquet catalysts and use the keihin carb? not sure if it works :thumb:

The last bar will start to blink when there is 1L left.. it can last very long dont worry. But 40.8km/l is way too little for a wave-i and scary too. Most people get 55-65+km/l on normal riding for a wave-i. If they wack and wack, the most is 55km/L.

Not insulting your skills in maths, just incase you got it wrong... when calculating, just take the total mileage travelled between your last pump and the time you going to pump. Divide this by the total amount of petrol you can put in.

Yamaha 125Z = 150km/5.5ltr

2T top up every 1000km/ltr
