Basically a sonic is like a wave with a clutch... and an extra gear... and better suspension and it's liquid cooled. (but no underseat storage)

Sell your wave and get a sonic! haha

I dont mind exchanging my wave for a sonic lol.. i was choosing between a wave and a sonic last time.. ended up with a wave as i felt it was a safer option.

All bikes are similar in Singapore. The require patience to sell and you're most certainly gonna lost money. That's why I've never bought a new bike. =p

hm..being an ex-wave rider...i can understand how silversurfer is feeling

it's quite a ###### to downgear before approach a steep slope for wave due to the clutchless system...the engine brake will jerk the bike abit too much

example of this situation = u (70kg) + pillion (60kg) approach the road frm mandai joining to BKE

if got clutch...im sure going up that slope is 10times smoother and easier

doing blipping does help to reduce the jerk abit...but the jerk will still be there...and it's dangerous to experience the engine jerkwhen a muthafcuk driver is tailgating behind u :giddy:

oh well...clutch and clutchless system have their own pros and cons but Honda wave in Spore only comes w/ clutchless system

if it's like X1..got both clutch and clutchless models = good!

....=[ R E P S O L ]=....

if u r referin 2 a Wave(feet-tronic) den u have 2 kick e gear in order 2 change it..gd thing is no clutch bt still need 2 close throttle...as 4 fully auto bike like runner, jus wack e throttle..

it's not called automatic

it's called clutchless

meaning u dun need to pull clutch when you change your gear

if you want fully automatic, its another kind of bike liao

Wave is CLUTCHESS with gears.

Means - you change gear by just kicking the left leg gear. NO NEED to clutch in, then change.

Therefore Wave is called semi-auto because you still have to change gears ma.

Fully-Auto would be like, skippers, Vespa GT200, Gilera Runners.. just whack throttle and u moved!

anyway! what if piston jam while you riding very fast how? Cannot clutch in and roll to safety! THEN HOW? SKID TO DIE! :nono:

im still thinking to get wave or X1.. clutchless sounds abit dangerous
