How much isit going to cost and when isit arriving?? now 2009 already:angel:

its out in the market since 2008, when its first out I ask the shop and its cost around a brand new CB4 SF Spec3. Not sure of the current pricing... I check Yamaha UK site, for 2009 YZF-R125 they come out with Race-Replica model with FIAT paintwork. :cheeky:

i'm sorry i'm really new.

the r125 looks HECK LOAD better than the r15,

the main reason why i wanna ride this instead of the r15.

rs125 being a 2 stroke, i kinda find it abit polluting and probably more troublesome and costly to own.

btw, i might consider a good condition 2nd hand.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

Yamaha reveal 2008 YZF-R125 learner sports motorcycle

By Chris Newbigging

New bikes

10 September 2007 16:30

This is the all-new 2008 Yamaha YZF-R125 motorcycle which will go head to head with the top-selling Honda CBR125R.

The Yamaha YZF-R125 uses an all-new liquid-cooled 124cc, four-valve, short-stroke single cylinder engine, which is claimed to be the most powerful 125cc four-stroke motorcycle available. It has a six-speed gearbox and fuel injection, and a Yamaha YZF-R6 style stubby exhaust with twin catalysts is fitted.

A full size Deltabox beam frame is used to make the Yamaha YZF-R125 feel and ride closer to a full size bike than the Honda CBR125R, and an aluminium ‘banana’ style swingarm, 33mm diameter forks and a 292mm brake disc/Brembo caliper and wide tyres complete the mini-sportsbike chassis.

The styling is close to the new 2008 Yamaha YZF-R6 – the short tail and aggressive looking twin headlight fairing are almost indistinguishable from the 600 at distance. Colours are blue/black, red/white, grey/black or yellow/black.

i think the bike price is 8-10k not really sure but its definitely ex.why spend so much on 2B when just 6k more can buy class 2 bike already. yeah R125 looks good but its more like a shrunken down verion of R6 and i find that it look a lil weird at times. kinda like sports bike but not a real sports bikE?

sad to say its newly develop engine & chassis... with ECM for fuel injection, better than conventional brake calipers which add onto the cost. You should look YZF-R125 within the 125 sports category, its equip with what a super sports motorcycle should have so what makes you feel that its not? If talking about performance, R125 are production bike, target beginner riders hence they are restricted in power.

i tink the r125 and the r15 are both worth the money ure paying for it.

of course ure almost paying twice as much for the r125.

it makes up with the styling and the brakes.

it comes down to how much u can or how much ure willing to pay and whether u like the bike. ppl say nice u dun like the feel oso no point cause ure the 1 living and paying for it.

12.8K? 18K?

All nonsense pricing for what is ultimately a bloody kup-kia engine mounted inside a SP type 2B sportbike frame.

Pretty but overpriced and underpowered.

It should be rightfully be valued 8K at the most... based on what a buyer would be getting.

Nice saying! class 2B shouldn't be that EX la, spoil market.
