hey manduh,

well, i've not owned (yet) shadow, dragstar and steed.

but have tried on my friends' bikes.

being a cruiser, u cant expect 0-100 instant pick up, but ofcuz definitely better than phantom. (engine not screaming and more stable)

top speed, phantom can reach 130/140 (on phantom meter) but from 100 to 130 might take very long time on smooth NSH (may be downslope), not instant boost pickup.

Meanwhile, 400cc cruiser can do that well, they still have torque and power to cruise smoothly at 140..

but after 140kmh ? havent try yet..

suzuki Boluvard is rather new bike, and u can read more in cruiser session

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124275

reverse front fork, sports rim, slash cut exhaust... looks more muscle cruiser.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178364

there's one more bike available now, (in garage sale) suzuki intruder, shaft driven, slim built, may be u might wanna check that one.

one forumer (Demon) rebuilt Intruder and i've seen his bike before, he extended the fork, change handle bar, make it one seater, looks really nice..

ok that's for 2A cruisers (that i know of)

want to know more about muscle cruiser for class 2? read this shoot out..

http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/roadtests/performance_cruiser_comparison/index.html

there's no more production of magna, and latest is what, 2003 ? but not in sg.

*suzuki Bandit is naked/street bike which most of them are decade old, resale value is relatively cheap but scared to get my hands on one as i dont no what wear and tear parts could be..

dont make it perm, and dont be "flicker minded" like me... hehehe

this class 2, 2A, 2B is singapore standard, actually there's learner's bike 250cc and below and one class for all.

cost of maintenance ? ofcuz if higher than phantom, but dont get stapped down by such, u wont enjoy your ride anymore.

yamaha vmax f/c is about 8 km/l, but the owners are loving them every bit of it.

u cant compare car and bike, different category!

:thumb: Hey kmax thanks bro! very insightfull. Will keep it as reference:thumb:

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

"They" still do URALS

guys...i've jus heard from my registration dept. Starting fm 15 jan. Deisel car can be registered to private owner. Meaning that Importer are allowed to bring in Diesel car and sell it to private owner in singapore. But heard road tax bit high. times 1.5 per cc or something.

Anyone here from LTA here can confirm on these?

wasn't this started a long time ago? because I saw many Vans with S** plates already instead of the G** ;)

Those are running on petrol...

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

haha, my work involves diapers.... no pitter patter of small feet in my house yet...

The Boulevard is originally an 800cc bike. The engine was reconfigured to 400cc for the Japanese market & eventually made its way here. That's why the bike looks big. the frame, tank & many other parts are common with its bigger brother
