What happened to all the Phantom riders?

hahaha...all went off the screen...so its kinda quiet all of sudden...time to crock poooost...

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

FNO leh.... otherwise I only go in and U-turn and come for petrol... Got weekend trip also can.. Too bad I miss out on the last outing... The last outing must be fun...

Having been trying to ride d Phantom as often as I could after getting my 2B almost 2 weeks ago.

So far it's a comfortable ride but once hit over 80, it's kind of a rough.

 

I still like d bassy tune....

Having been trying to ride d Phantom as often as I could after getting my 2B almost 2 weeks ago.

So far it's a comfortable ride but once hit over 80, it's kind of a rough.

 

I still like d bassy tune....

 

My phantom is still quite smooth over 80. Just slight roughness in the handlebar but overall quite smooth. Have you changed engine oil? The Phantom is very smooth compared to some bigger V-twins I rode before. Almost as smooth as an inline 4 cylinder DOHC 400cc bike (at the correct rpm). Have you ridden a Yamaha RXS or RXK? Vibration from those bikes can give your body a massage. Sound damn bloody loud and rough when you go higher speed.

yea, almost as smooth as an I4 400cc... @ 0rpm.

Read on the news and saw Uncle Peter Low (aka @ausa) mentioned. Seems like he's making wetsuits for penguins now.

it could be true.. with foul-up plugs.. flooded carb... choked exhaust.. loose piston and dry engine oil...

that one ah.. then you can add crooked handlebars, rock-hard seat, cramped posture for pigmy size rider, no windshield (aka) helmet rest space, loud exhaust, cable-ties, 101 switches for LEDs and Blinkers to overkill the tiny battery.

 

oh well.. feel sorry for a good bike kena abuse till scrap..

 

BBDC, SSDX should consider this to be text book example for "what not to do to your bike.."
