thks kev for ur fast reply... posted in shadow thread but it seems dead over there, no responds... now im unsure of my rear tire pressure... does tube and tubeless have a different range or recommended air pressure? its a 180, not sure what is the recommended air pressure for it... so if my rear really puncture i gotta remove the rear tire and replace the inner tube? wa doesnt seem possible to be done on open road sia...

on the wall of the tire, there's the reccomended tire pressure.

just pump accordingly, +/- of yr weight & whatever additional load u hv on the bike. IMO, usually I just pump to recommended even if my bike's loaded, depends on individual preference.

 

well, for cruiser bikes, i gues its either u're really DIY ready-ed or dependant on a phone call away.

 

there's also another way which is, there's a kinda solution to be put into the tire, which would in turn, create a seal between the tire & rim.

it has been proven that it can withstand puntures, but, the mech will surely curse & swear when replacing worn out tires...

Btw, you can ask ah Cheong whether can change to shadow ace rear rim or not. That is tubeless tyre.

Shadow, with all the models, is different frm each other.

If want mod, need to see if can fit anot, otherwise, it may link to other parts thats connected..

I always tot the pressure on the sidewall refers to the pressure at maximum load.

replaced rear tire and bearing, total damage 218 T-T still having the massage chair feel but slightly better... guess my last resort is chg back to stock pipe... cannot enjoy the ride with all the rumbling... i try ask him can chg rear rim to tubeless type he say cannot =.= sad...

There are people who will pump slightly higher, due to some other reasons.

under normal circumstances, shouldn't be higher than the prescribed maximum shown on the tire wall.

cos ah Chong already experience a rider on Shadow trying to mod Steed's rear castor rim, but in the end cannot bcos gt other items to the rims affected...

Bouncy.... Check fork and suspension...

 

yea, i agree, could be the rear suspension abit on the hard side for you...

ya ah chong say both my suspension hard... but nvr soften for me... i feel vibrations as well on the handlebar, need to put balancer uh? i guess guys suppose to like soft things not hard ones :cheeky:

the monoshocks should be able to adjust hard on soft, just like Phantom's.

correct me if Im wrong thou. Hvnt seen it personally yet, so Im nt sure.

 

vibs on the handle could due to alot of causes also...

Backside itchy lah... Super4 no problem change to shadow.... Should get a class 2 bike my friend. Once you started touring, you will regret... Want to buy GS1150? 1 and only in sg...

riding posture between the 2 also no difference. hahah.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
