It can work for you, but it can equally work against you too; but only if you lose/left it!

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

I'd like to comment that you have just made a comment then later comment that you actually have no comment, but if I did that, my comment would be the same as your comment that commented that you have no comment. So I'd better keep quiet & have no comment instead :thumb:

I totally have nothing to look forward to these days.

Any convoys to be planned? Maybe some pre-National Day gathering + convoy?

ps: Madman, advertise your flags liao!

When will you be back eh?

Leaving US for Costa Rica next week & returning to Singapore around end July. Basically I have wasted 2 months of road tax, insurance & season parking.

Didn't lay up my bike (again!) coz the towing cost, inspection, LTA admin fee adds up as well & didn't make it worth the trouble. My bike is safely under the care of a workshop. Wasn't comfortable leaving it in the MSCP.

:btw: its Independence Day in US now... going to some festivals later :)

Firstly, whoever think that the below is a great wall of text, please refrain from commenting. It's for those who may be interested.

Actually what prompted me to start that post is because someone started a thread asking for something, which then the 2nd post another old bird come in and say it's not correct to start a new thread to ask something which was asked before. The someone came and recommend a close to the thread because the "lao jiao advised".

Now.

1. Nowhere is stated that a new thread cannot be started to ask, especially if it's buried and dead for a long time.

Nobody educate the new people, how you expect them to know what you expect them to do, or not to do?

2. The thread was recommended to be closed by another guy who answer in the thread cos "lao jiao oredi advised",

If the thread is going to be closed, might as well give the guy his answer before closing. At least it serves a good purpose instead of become just another unanswered but closed thread.

3. And do take note, "if you wan the new people to be guai, the older people should set the example". If you dun wan the thread to be filled with crap tok, the people who have been here longer should take care not to sidetrack.

4. I have no idea if rearrangement requires owner approval, but cleaning up should be up to the mods themselves ba? If the mods dun agree to it no point talking about it.

5. I dunno about the other people, but I seldom contribute anything because a. someone has answered oredi, b. i have never modded what you wan to mod.

6. All in all, this is a forum where we used to find answers, ask for help, ask for advise and such. Treasure trove of experience. But when the treasure accumulates into a mountain, how do you dig up the gem at the bottom with a shovel with a hole?

I do not care if anyone agrees or disagrees, the above are my views and mine only.

well said..

u dont have to answer or agree or disagree....

if thread is of no interest to any one..it will die a natural death...nobody has to do anything. it is of interest to the mod only...

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

lun, guess you missed my point or missed my post in the other thread.

i'll modify it abit to make things clear.

i only suggest he ask his questions in the existing newbie thread or something, if not, everytime someone has a question, will just post a new thread asking this and that, by that time, think here will be bombed with new threads everyday with different people asking the same thing.

example like "Does madman sell accessories' "Who is pinkphantom.com", "Where can I find madman"... all these can be in one thread, such as phantom cosmetic upgrade thread.

we should perhaps just combine it with a already existing similar thread, just like the lastest news section? that way, it'll not be messy, no threads closed, similar thread will be combined as one. just my suggestion, hope it clears up on your side, least you think otherwise.

so mods, cho kang...hehee
