SBBF thread disappeared

 

it happened to you too? I was wondering if it was just me...

 

Hey yea... the 2 SBF '08 threads are gone....

 

Hmmm dont tell me the event is cancelled ?

 

i thought it was just me only too. i clearly remember seeing at least 2 threads in this forum just yesterday but this evening until now, i cant seems to find it.

 

for a sec, i thought i saw the posting in my dream. lucky it's not me only...

yea gone without a trace leh... tried to search for it but the search function also seem to be broken... no announcement from mods also...

 

the server db seems to be hit really hard and overworked lately too... always kena "server is too busy" message...

think the mods doing sth lah...

It was postponed before, may be postponed again.

I dont like the idea of the threads suddenly changing themselves and getting locked for some admin issue without letting us know - i rather the threads keep their names so they dont confuse everyone.

 

jB mentioned the chill pill - i think it applies to the admins on the issue more than those who're keen on going.

arrghhhh my rear tyre hit a nail.. just found out when i pumped petrol and my tyres 2 hours ago.. luckily i pump my tyres at least once a week without fail..

 

that is the second time my rear tire hit a nail.. the first time was worse, i think i was 0.2 cm thick nail that went in.

 

do anyone knows whether i can still use this rear tire after mending it?

So long as it can be mended without any leakages, it can still be used. Keep pumping and notice any sudden drop of air pressure, or use the soap water method to inspect.

i've used my tyre with worm patch for a few months before..

one friend of mine used his tyre with 5 patches for a year.. (not just in singapore but touring as well)

get it plugged...it will last a long time...experience in my car tyre done 40km ,over 3 years still ok...

yup thanks all.. just went to planet today at about 3.50pm to mend my rear tire.. the nail was pretty long though.

 

it was done in a matter of 10 mins and i was on my way to get some char siew outside.. yummy..
