Hi all. My Wave is super ugly and ah pek looking. I plan to do cosmetic mod to make is into the sporty type but then I heard from AGL's Kok Seng shop that older model Wave

like mine, Wave-s 110, cannot fit the newer fairings and tail cover. But some of my friends who rode the older model Waves

told me that the chassis is the same and that it will fit. Anyone riding Wave-S 110 manufactured in 2001 or older here to

enlighten me on this issue?

These are some of the things I have in mind; spray to chilli red, change to sporty fairing, change black sport rim and Dunlop

cornering tires (I am not a racer. Want it nice nia hehe), change to yellow longer rear suspension and jack the tail higher.

Any recommendations, like what kind of fairing, tires, rims, tail etc. etc., that I can do to make it look nice and sporty please shoot! Also where I can find them. Greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Where will u recommend to fit this carb????:help:

Hello, are you there......

Posted

the usual four stroke cubs 110cc above e.g. wave, spark, smash, shogun. . . . .

its a 24mm, so it fits perfectly with the racing manifold ( 24mm, cubprix regulation) sold in the market for 110cc cubs

oso its not too big (IMO), easier to jet and idle, perfect size if wanna use for everyday like me

The mikuni flatslide uses a separate idling channel, unlike roundslides that share with the pilot system.

raider 150 engine oso same as fxr150

coz before the 8k rpm for the boost to open, reli lose power wan,

even the boost pressure u get is too little

daihatsu mira turbo is too big, if u can find a smaller one, mebi can work

refugee

u r right, its 22mm,

Sorry if I sound stupid. But can you guys explain the difference between the types of carbs, the differences between the sizes eg 22mm, 24mm and everything that an idiot like me has to know about carbs.

If you have time tell me more about engine block also. Thanks!!

i'm really curious... what is it that you asked and nobody answered?

if its the usual topics like.. price, insurance, road tax, how much this and that service... i'm afraid nobody will answer... its normal... cos its pointless to answer a question that incurs a cost.. it'll not be accurate....

---

btw... about drum brakes storing water, i seriously dun think it'll happen.. as in STORE water... the AGL guy is probably trying to smoke you and make you spend the 500rm for disc conversion. dun be fooled.

my advice is... if you're adviced to change something that you are not aware the pros and cons... you shouldnt even be changing it...

dun be psychoed!
