alot of shop can do.. see the advertistments ard this forum.. price wise, depends on brand of stuffs u want to use.. i tink can get minimum 500+ to 700+ including werkmanship..

 

later ah, people going to say go jb cheaper.. hehehehe...

 

wah...500-700???cannot be la...i got my spark135 rear disc done 1yr ago at ubi planet motor at about 300+workmanship..item including racingboy 8leg sport rim+disc+caliper+brake pump...Can look for ah peng/ah chong...

i prefer to go for the x1r rear disc brakes + x1r stock rims.. fits better.. but abit more ex.. the racing boy rear disc looks shady.. maybe i kena ketok lah, dat was wat dis particular shop in amk quote me.. dats y until now i never change rear disc..

 

but my big question is....

is this mod legal?

i've been using the rear brake disc system for over a year plus and it hasnt failed me ever, saved my life countless of times. changed to the rear brake disc system cos i am using racing footrest. its a racing boy setup ah. would be better if you got the nissin setup though, you can find it at http://www.yamahat135.com forums there, its just the shipping costs at times can be a killer.

 

you can choose either sports rims or spoke rims, i did mine on sports whereas my friend uses did spoke rims, works well for the both of us. so any doubts whatsoever or any queries can ask me yea? oh... and its hub, wheel hub. harp is an instrument.

yep spot on, regardless its front or back. its illegal. they want you to have braking power. not lose it.

same here, i mean internal they can't really catch on the road ah. they can't tell unless you're super speeding or something. by right, racing footrest they can bring you back to base or saman u on the spot. but then again, they give lee-way ah, which is good la. i mean, the footrest serves its purpose what, just make sure its functioning good already ah.

hey everyone. Need your help to advise me on this.

my brake, im not sure front or back, has a screeching sound whenever i apply brake. sometimes have the screeching sound, sometimes dont have.

anyone of you know whats the likely problem?

cause i dont want to go to the bike shop, tell the mechanics whats the problem and later he cheat me say need to change this and that.. i just want to have a rough idea what are the possible problem of my brake.. thanks!

how bout x1r rims n rear disc set.. but i tink need to drill hole on swingarm to hold the caliper in place..

hmm, u can use either racing boy disc brake system, or 125z disc system (not recommended) or x1r disc brake system. if ur using spoke rims, u need to use 125z hub. if ur using sports rims, make sure ur sports rims can use for disc brake ah.
