Hi, I'm currently riding Honda Wave...

 

How do i check if the brake pads are worn out?

Front is Disc brake and Rear is Drum brake...

the easiest is to bring your bike to your mechanic to have them check. you can visually check the thickness of the front pads,the rear ones is when you feel you have to depress lower/harder evrytime you break. see the tension level of the rear brake too, if it has been adjusted forward, your brake shoe may have worn. i may not explain the best way for you to understand. so, be safe bro, have them check by your mechanic.

Tell tale signs for discs are screeching sounds heard when braking(usually its metal against metal, ur rubber pad has worn out). Also check ur disc, sometimes the outer diameter sinks in(slowly being eaten haha).

best way to determine if the rear has work out is to look at the butterfly nut with the spring. it'll tell you if your pads are worn..
