You can try this hotel. :)

Hotel Pontian Johor Bahru

Pusat Perdagangan Pontian, Jalan Delima

82000 Pontian, Johor Darul Ta'zim.

Pontian is just a small town. There is a Shangri-la restaurant near Parkson (you need to made a U-turn at the cross junction at the Bata shop on your left on the main road and followed by a left-turn) that serve good oriental food or nearby kopitiam there for the famous clay pot Bak Ku Teh.

Ride on the main road pass the Bata shop, you will come across the police station and make a right-turn down the first stretch of shop houses, they have a famous stall serving Wanton Mee without wanton (haha! surprised?)

There is nothing much to do except for rest and relax. Shopping is pretty limited at Parkson and some small shops. When night falls, you will find the town alive, enjoy food and drinks by the sea at either Tambak or Pontian Seaside. Tambak, is a new commercial area, everything is new within. On the other hand, Pontian seaside already exist for decades, if you really want to enjoy the true Pontianese life, go to Pontian Seaside. You might get lucky someone performing live music. Along the main road, you would probably come across roadside stalls selling foods too.

Thank bro:thumb:

Anyway, Lee Gardens is not the "best" hotel around. For the price which is about 600 baht to 650 baht, lots of other hotels available which are better.

The problem I always find with Lee Gardens is the plumbing. It's always choked... can't take a decent shower.

Try New Seasons Hotel (abt 900+ bht) 5 mins to Lee garden plaza (Macdonald). Will be cheaper (10% to 15% if I am not wrong) to get voucher from travel agent ard there. Also for foot reflexology too.

rgds.

Any good hotel to recommend for the best value for money?

Thanks!

i would suggest park your bike. walk to any "travel agent stall" tat is around the lee garden plaza area (all within 5 min walking distance only). check out what are the promotional rate or stick to the hotel you preferred. buy the vocher and hop to the hotel counter and check in. this method is cheaper then walk into the hotel with a vip card.

i do know there are 2-3 newly build hotel in that area. try staying at there and give us feedback.

borrow your trend to ask a question to all bro here.

at hatyai, beside the paragon disco, is there any other disco that u know of?

pls feedback.

paragon disco is cater for tourist. the music is 85% chinese/english.
