Bro, there is no comparison, the S2000 is in a class of its own here. Both in looks and performance. the MX5 has some cult status at least and the MRS is just trying to get in the scene. given this retrictive choice, i'd definitely take the S2000.

In my opinion, S2000 would be the best.. Same goes with the price tag too.. :cheeky:

Hey Bro! Long time no see!

So which car is more comparable to S2000 then? MX-5 Roadster has this electronic retractable roof that's really convenient. I'm familiar with the pricing. What is S2000 Redline at? Heard the S2000 engine is really marvellous. MX-5 always promoting their mind and soul into this rider and ride thingie. Really love the Elise but that roof removal really cracks me up though, but just love the green elise beside my green bike image. Ha!

Hi !

MX5 is almost a classic already, having a huge following.

Pricing is quite fair and overall performance on paper is reasonable.

But looks slightly girlish due to rounded bodylines

S2000 is built for performance and the driver in mind.

Stronger bodylines means a more masculine look.

If I'm not wrong the S2000 is easily 20% more expensive.

If you willing to put more money, a second hand Z4 can be considered.

Or perhaps an older Porsche Boxster which is still a very driveable machine.

anyway whats with the convertible?

I understand how fun it can be as i used to drive one but how come so sudden? why not consider other coupes with sunroof option?

hope you find the right car.

Just need some feedback. Anyone with constructive comments?

Few things that make the MRS stands out from the other two are, it has a mid-engine, and an automatic sequential gearbox.

The main disadvantage of the Honda S2K is that there are too few to be comfortable with, especially not supported by Kah Motors.

Personally I like the MX5, it has the classic roadster look, a well balance car, and most practical car for local driving and ownership among the three.

Another convertible to consider is the VW EOS, it's a hard-top convertible and sits 4 adults.

Hmmm.. Can I say I'm just a roadster fan? Not into performance, just into two seaters as far back as possible, open roof and enjoy the ride. Z4 & Boxsters are expensive man.

Just doing my survey and thinking first. Not plunging in to get one.

What are you driving now throttle? And that thunder still with you? Thought of converting my 6'er into street fighter, getting bored of sports.

Uncle beng, when can I do the 1 finger thing in your ride?

Thank you all for your input thus far!

Personally I had tried these three cars.

If your concern is not about money but only to compare these 03 machines, i would say you go for S2k.

It has a complete and balance package compare to other 02. Power, handling, appearance, some booth space, driving pleasure, attraction, wow factors and such ... ... ...

IMO, what I don't like about S2k is the wind noise coming in from front gaps. Midst section where the gearbox located is quite hot after some distances. Traffic jam, your left leg may cramp. :D

If MX5, you must get the 2.0L.

If MRS, you must fit nice bodykits.

These 03 comparatively has quite ok resale value. :)
