Hoi Raptor,

Yo darlink... I wish I could, but am not going there as a participant but as a spectator and probably pit helper for the guys. They had actually wanted to trailer my bike up with theirs FOC and wanted me to take part in the Novice class... saying that it would blow the guys away to see a chinaman from a little island in SE Asia mixing it up with them. Sigh.

I dislocated my left shoulder 2 weeks ago, and last week I tried riding on the track but find that the shoulder is still too sore and I am rather stiff with the left hand corners. Hard to pull the bike down for the tight turns.

I will be leaving in a while for the 300 mile drive to the place. All I can do is probably take tonnes of pics of the bikes and the BABES and post it later after the weekend on this thread.

Till then ride fast and ride safe while on the tracks.

And ya... really true for supermotards... when in doubt, gas it!!! Especially in the tight turns when you think the bike cannot turn in time.... gas it and the rear will slide and point you in the right direction.

Hoi Raptor,

Oh man, poor you.

From what I can gather from your post, your are not racing because of your shoulder?

That has to suck Big Time.

But you have no one else to blame, I have already told you to alternate between hands when you wank. Using one arm too much can lead to dislocation due to over use.

HAHAHAHHA!

My dear Hart.. dislocation of shoulder can happen to anyone of any age and at anywhere and anytime and not necessarily due to falling from a bike. Do pray it does not happen to you.

As for me... am already quite pissed off with the whole dislocation issue as I was told that once weakened, it can happen again, which means now I have a psychological barrier to overcome whilst on the tracks

Anyway... here are first instalment of the photos from that weekend.

Was a pretty wild one too.

Quad race in progress, the dirt portion of the track (background of pic) has whoops and table tops. They really get airborne over there.

Butt out of the seat, rear sliding and counter steering. Awesome stuff!

This guy was a bit more extreme with the butt hanging..

Spinning out in the tight turns to be collected by another quad broadside was common...

Looks scary... but must be fun.

I had watched on RUSH channel about the Grass Root racing where many are racing quads for quite awhile, for fun of the sports. It was even said to be a family event, where parents (usually the father) turns from racer to crewchief for their children! That's nice. Because of the small community, the children sees each other in school and even the tracks, ha ha. But of course, not everyone is so lucky to have a chance to race due to financial status.
