autosol can a not ah?

Autosol is a kind of very mild abrasion. In the long run it won't be too good. Tried once on my titanium, the color got rubbed off a bit. Don't think it's too good for your firespec. I now also use normal polishing wax

I used autosol to polish my firespec when i just got a it. I can see those veri tiny hairline scratch after i polish it, it seems like its the autosol tat caused it. Further more i can feel autosol is quite rough when i polishing the pipe. Just my exp.

hehe good stuff...unless someone's gonna explain to me how sound travels thru different shaped end cans or the technicalities of the sound waves deflection, am still skeptical abt it hehe

i think its due to the 3 walls of the tri-oval that makes it sound softer as compared to the round end cans...

to me, care for my Yoshi end can is waxing...

recently i tried using chrome polish... good also...

WD40 will "eat" metal, so its no to me...

Autosol is made of sand like substance which will cause scratches, no to me too...

the above is my 2 cents... no flaming pls... :help:

if you wana change end can without tuning of carbs, i think the advice is to go for a dyno test and see what the mechs have to say. but for ppl like me who go for performance in my machine, i sent my S4 for tuning when i install my end can, i can tell you, it does a lot of difference with and without tuning. air/fuel ratio, carb jet settings and the needles all need to be tuned to reach best optimum performance. maybe you can try to get a end can first and use it for a month before going for tuning... so that you will feel the difference. my 2 cents and personal experience.

if you just change the end can, it doesnt not make any much different cos ur intake air are still the same...unless u change ur airfilter, different size header, den I would suggest to got for tuning cos ur carb taking more air will have lean condition n to fully unleash the beast..my 2 cents
