Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

There are two model of latest CB1300, as you mention should be the 2005 onward. The European model and the JDM.

JDM is better in term of build quality, fully adjustable suspension, etc. European model has no power restriction.

It is a simple bike like CB400 (simple as no VTEC), maintainance same as CB400 but just more expensive because all using the bigger part.

4L of engine oil, with 17km/L of petrol comsumption, consider more expensive compare with some car.

There are lots of part for modification, but need to order from oversea and expensive.

About handling, about the same with CB400 slightly heavier. JDM restricted at 180km/h.

With the big engine tune for street riding, the power band is almost everywhere.

the new CB1300 Spec III has one pipe. One main reason why there are so few on the road is that there are few parts for it.

I only manage to see 3x of the 2005 CB1300 on the road, including mine. :cheeky:

No need VTEC lah, the engine is so powerful from 1000 to 8500 RPM, just throttle abit the bike will go, of course trade of on the top speed.

Because the population is fewer here, most riders prefer to get Hayabusa or ST1300.

hmm... hard to describe how it feel.....

For CB400, you feel the power/pickup when VTEC kick in at 7,000RPM... but for CB1300, the pickup start at 2,000RPM....

After removed the restriction, can reach 240 easily..... So I heard the fastest 260km/h...
