That's a frame brace. It's to prevent the frame from flexing too much. It's primary function is to improve handling and not guarding the engine.

There are many brands available. Active, Exactrep, Holeshot.

Not cheap tho...

I don't think you can get them locally unless someone is selling second hand.

Did you just bought a Vmax?

Hi guys

a good friend of mine has a FM plate Vmax which he has kept for so many years. Due to his family committment to drive, his Vmax was laid up for abt 3 years. Now its on the road again after spent 2K plus to get it running recently. COE also renewed for 10 years. He really love his Vmax.

But there is still more repairs to be done. The mechanic who last fixed his bike seems not interested to fix his bike anymore.

Anyone knows any shop that is good at fixing Vmax?

I am a Honda bike lover:-

Honda CRM 125, Honda Cub C70, Honda Steed 400VSE

Honda Shadow Slasher 400, Honda XR125L, Honda XR400RW

Honda SuperCub C90 single seater (vintage ride - 43km/l)

Honda NC700X (Smooth tourer around Indochina)

Honda CRF250L (Enduro - 30km/L)

Other alternative shops would be Combine Motor at Sin Ming and Mah Motorparts at Jalan Besar to which ever convenient location for your friend if he is in an urgency to get his motorcycle fixed up or if Rosli's schedule is tight.

Good luck!

Four wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul.

U will never get the same thrill and excitement when riding compared to driving. V-max is a legend, the new one will be another legend. Cerato... o_O will never be a legend. B-king is not a legend yet.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

B-king is a different kind of bike from the Vmax, but what they do have in common is insane power from the engine. If that's what you're looking for I guess the B-king would do just as well.

Compared with the B-King, Mr Max packs a bigger, more powerful engine – a 1679cc, DOHC, 16-valve V4 that produces an astonishing 197bhp. But the V-Max also weighs 307 kilos – 47kg more than the B-King – which somewhat negates its almost 40bhp power advantage over the Suzuki.

I saw a female Vmax rider today...FL plate 3 digit.

Small frame Chinese gal...going to UniSIM on the same route as me for exams....impressive!!

Despite her small frame, she handled the bike very well. Can tell she has been riding it for some time liao

After parking our bikes, we took the lift together. Her small built really surprise me...can handle the Vmax as if it was very lightweight. Wanted to talk to her but no guts.

In the end met her again at the carpark when exam ended. Zoom off she went....Stylo milo!

Anyone knows her?
