Just wondering, if the talk ends early enough I might be able to make it... But I have not been to Malaysia before, so what would I need to bring? I only know of passport, IC, and ringgits. But what is a whitecard and where can I get one? is there any other items I need to take note of?

White card = Embarkation form, can only get from JB custom or fellow rider.

If u can make it, maybe you can try asking Snapel on his mobile to bring u one extra, then ask from the JB custom officer after being cleared.

 

please also wear pants/longsleeve/covered shoes and clear visors. Inform your NOK about your plan. And give any of the riders going your contact aka please contact Snapel.

Advice you do break the news to yr family.

Because,

at least yr family knows where you'll be;

at least yr family knows you are riding;

at the very least, (touchwood) shld anything happens, they know why & may understand;

at least, your friends/comrades/compatriots/brothers & sisters know how to answer yr family...

While I'm still financially dependant on my parents (especially my dad), I don't think I have any chance. I know my dad well, he will cut my lifeline/ write me out of his will/ disown me/ chase me out of the house... At least my brother knows... I don't have much of a choice but to keep the status quo this way for now...

getting disowned or whatnots is better than getting heartbroken....theres too many cases of riders riding w/o their family knowing, end up after accident the family members were informed by TP, can u imagine the trauma???

 

at least let them know ur riding, they might be angry with u for the time being, and after that they will juz show care and concern by telling u to ride safe...which is a whole lot more than keeping them in the dark....
