need help. my fuel consumption has becoming worst n worst.

can any1 tell mi wats the problem?

 

initially after i asked the mech from planet to lower my 2t consumption, my fuel consumption drop from 200 without reserve to 180 without reserve. now dunno y it keep dropping. from 180 without reserve to 170 to now abt 160. can any1 tell mi wats the problem?

 

btw my 2t also quite high, like 2 weeks 1 bottle. high right? can adjust lower right? it will not hurt the engine?

 

lastly can any1 suggest where to get the best tuning?

haaa.. i dont know about 2T bikes, but from what u say is really high..for a SP u riding ?

 

usually what i know from my SP frends, they can go up to 220km full tank before reserve..

some ppl say if ur plug no change for a long long time wait eat petrol jia lat...

your usage of 2t is high? how is your riding style?? lotsa revv in high rpm may eat lotsa petrol....

sorry guys. didnt online for a few days.

i nv changed much. just knn filter only lor.

initialy can go up to 200km 1 but now onli can go 160 after reserve.

just went bike shop ask them adjust le so now still pending see how is it. haha.

as for 2t i was also used to be 1 week once but went to adjust 1 time become 2 week once. just now ask the mech he say smallest liao. if still like tat den mayb the 2t pump spoil need change. told them if i wan mayb later then go change.thanks for all the help u guys gave

2B bikes and even some of the 2A bikes' fuel consumption depends quite significantly on the load. Therefore if u suddenly have a regular pillon rider or u change to a new gf who weighs more than the previous gf or ur gf suddenly put on a lot of weight, ur bike's fuel consumption tend to increase as well.

 

 

P.S Dont show this reply to ur girl if u have one. she may get paranoid abt her weight.:p

wahh.. 120 - 140km before reserve....?? ur bike drink petrol one ahh.. so high fuel consumption.. maybe is ur riding style laa..

anyway .. wad fuel u pump? 95 or 98? if u pump98 try switching to 95 lo... for my KR, my FC for 98 is ard 250km per tank w/o reserve but when i switch to 95 i can get abt 280km per tank w/o reserve

There could be a small leak in your fuel lines, or the connection from your fuel line to your carb/EFI may be loose resulting in leakage of petrol when the bike is moving or when you riding on uneven roads. This will contribute to perceived increase in fuel consumption.

 

You might also want to check if you have recently been parking in the open, under the hot sun. There's bound to me some fuel lost through evaporation when your bike is hot.

dude if u change your filter PLS tune your carb,example:change jet,needle etc...and tune

Ex - Honda CB400.

Ex - Yamaha Fazer S2.

Ex - Yamaha R1.

Ex - Suzuki Hayabusa.

Ex - Yamaha Spark.

Ex - Yamaha Tmax.

Current -

Honda Jazz.

Kawasaki ZX6R.
