The 1956 T100 is not re-registered. 1956 is e cut-off point between AS plate and AA plate. The AS plate was originally S plate. Eg S1000. But e Registrar of vehicles change the plate to eg. AS1000K wit e alphabet at the back. So e AS plate is e oldest plate in S'pore. The AS plate is from 1956 and below. Fyi my friend is riding a Matchless 1941 plate AS 1082U. So e smaller e no e older e bike. Hope this will enlighten yr concern.

Tks for the intro, bro.

Got a scare yesterday when the bike didn't start but luckily you came to my rescue, man.................

The triumph side "rubber pad" is losening. Do you have any idea what type of epoxy/adhesive to use, to fix it up back?

Yeah, man. 3 thunderbirds is an eye opener. Maybe we should arrange for a meet up?

PS : I seldom log-in........Can contact via sms 93384380.

No prob....

will contact you if any meet ups.

the knee pads can be stuck back simply using double side tape of a stronger kind. 3M brand is good enough.

Of you can order a pair over the Net for about GBP30, i think.

I ordered mine too.

I'll be making a trip to Australia soon.

Hopefully I can spare some time at the Triumph dealership and maybe even buy some parts for the Tbird.

It's been real quiet here lately.

Any other Triumph modern retro owner s?

Legend, Adventurer, Thruxton, Bonneville??

Yo Throttle,

Tks for the advice again.

Managed to mend the broken fuel hose temporary. Went to buy a high tension fuel line at Sin Ming and eventually got the thing replaced by the mechanic. Charge me labour cost though as he needs to remove the carb.

Posted

Anytime dude. Glad everything's back to normal again for your Tbird.

We still havent had the chance to meet up yet though.

Hopefully when i come back from all my business trips, Vintage bike section boss Marco will organise a meet-up and we can all gather to chill out.
