Sorry guys if i posted this in the wrong section.

Just like to know what will happen if lesser amount of engine oil is poured into the engine. my Z is only 600ml and usually EO bottle is 1l

After i changed EO(from a shop not on my own) i took back the remainder and seems alot... although i did not pour the remainder and measure...

what will happen... thanks... :thumb:

Bro, its best dat u chk da remainder EO left in da btl, usually if u fill up more than d required amt, ur bike will tend to be heavier, but if u top up less than d required amt it'll be abit lighter but it will oso cause damage to ur engine in d long run. Juz my personnal opinion thou, maybe there are others who wld like to give other comments..........:thumb:

the grinding sound make come from other parts than the engine.

it could be ur chain too dry...

anyway just curious where u change ur engine oil?

EO level tend to drop after long run. that is why we need to change EO often. be safe not sorry. after all a bottle of normal average EO cost less hen 20 bah.

Yupz, dats rite bro, our EO level will tend to drop after long run, it mighgt be due to some leakage problem.

Its somewhere ard 650 - 750 ml if i'm nt wrng, cant reali remember for every bikes haha..........

At d engine casing on da right side of ur bike u can find a small circular glass panel. U can reali see ur EO level from there and theres a marking on d eng casing for u to gauge ur EO level so roughly use it as a guide.

2 strokes eo is only for clutch plates. better off with gear oil. more or less eo, wear and tear decrease or increase only.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

too little and your engine faces damage from under-lubrication.

too much and your engine faces EO overflow. a real messy thing to happen as EO will flow out thru your spark plugs and into your air filter... among other places.

keep your excess EO for chain lubrication? or keep it till your next EO change. 2 bottle = 3 EO change + excess 200ml. or 3 bottles = 5 EO changes.
