the X11 is discontinued... Basically a Naked Blackbird.

On the Heavy side. 1100cc

The CB 1300 has plenty of torque cos of hugh engine...

So if u enjoy a lot of grunt a low rev... that's the bike for u.

See it now has an option for Bikini fairing... CB1300S.

Will help in open highway crz above 180kmh.

Hornet 900: A CBR 919cc Sport Eng Tune down for Low/Mid Torque.

Bike is much lighter than the above 2.

Easy handling if bike is used for running around in Spore.

Just feel a little larger & heavier than the S4.

But plenty of Pwr! U will enjoy it... Berry much!

Fuel consumption is much lower. 270km before reserve.

350km to empty tank.

Bike will tour... Great ridin' position.

Tank & Tail bag will be a nice combi for a week trip.

spec, I saw the cb1300 at boon siew. I think it's a monster. looks great with half fairing... man, that might be the bike for me when I upgrade

the bikini fairing a bit too bikini. wind shield a bit too low. hopefully can see aftermarket ones to make it look more impressive.

how abt doing a tuning? seems ur bike is fitted with "extra" stuffs ..

Philosophy A: Ignore what everyone else thinks. Riding is a better way to get around. Ride paranoid and keep your skills sharp

Philosophy B: Ride with somebody who's better than you. You will pick up a handy trick or new skill just about every time you are out

Philosophy C: You don't need a big bike to prove ur passion for riding

I see that the three bikes you had chosen are all naked muscule bike so beside Honda bike, have you consider other brand for instance the Yamaha XJR 1300. I am no spokemen for yamaha but the xjr 1300 is a good bike with a very powerful pick up. Beside, it is oil cool and running on alternator, which mean you do not have to worry about coolent or coil problem. Most importantly it is at least 4000 cheaper than the CB 1300.

Please do not get me wrong, I got big respect for the CB 1300 and i think it is a great bike. In term of braking, i think Honda ABS system is definately one up against XJR 1300.

Neither am I starting a comparision of the bikes here as both bike had their pros but I hope I might widen your options if you are really considering a big naked bike.

Depends what you look for in a bike. cb1300 is awesome looking and has incredible grunt.

Hornie 600 might test them all on the windy roads though :-)

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference

X11

A solid, muscular asnd as powerful as Blackbird as they are brothers. Too bad it was discontinued. But due to it's similarity to Blackbird, riders will go for the Bird as it is more aerodynamic. Yet, I still give a 2 thumbs up!!

CB1300

Rode this bike before, but it was '99 model (with 2 exaust). I find it the best, most comfortable, solid, muscular and cruise very well. But it has it's setback. The model I rode have only a top speed of 180km/h. But still, powercut can always be override. For this bike, I give 3 thumbs up!!

Hornet900

This is the current bike I am riding and I find it very powerful for a bike with it's weight. But due to that, I find that It is not a good long distance bike as it is too light for a long distance riding. Due to the weight, you will be floating at high speed which I find it tiring even when I cruise. What I say is, with that kind of power and that kind of weight, it is meant more for racing and not so far long distance riding. For race, I give 3 thumbs up but overall I give this bike 1 1/2 thumbs up!!

But all this is only base my experience as I rode 2 of the 3 bikes mentioned above. Different people will have their own different oppinion.

My present action, will be my future experience.
