Paiseh.

I have a few question hope the CBF 150 riders can help me.

1. Presently, The CBF 150 that is available in SG. Still the same model? Or already have the HK type? (with tachometer and new type handle bar)

2. Is the red and White CBF 150 color available in SG?

3. Acerbis MX handguard. Mountable? (meaning mount already won't obstruct handlebar and knock into fairing)

4. After owning the bike, anyone does valve clearance before?

5. Engine noise. Is it loud after 10K mileage? Louder of softer? let say compare to YBR125 or other 2B bikes?

6. Stock change is O ring type of just plain normal heavy duty type?

7. Any one with E21 side pannier mounted? Does it affect handle when mounted with E21?

Paiseh and Thanks in Advance

Not sure, i bought mine last 2 years ago and its still the old one, not the cbf150-sf 2011 version....

2. Is the red and White CBF 150 color available in SG?

Nope, from wat i know only have black, red and blue but u can always order the red/white fairing from china and fix it...

3. Acerbis MX handguard. Mountable? (meaning mount already won't obstruct handlebar and knock into fairing)

I am tinking of doing this also but till now i only seen Biposto done it b4, so i tink its definitely mountable

4. After owning the bike, anyone does valve clearance before?

Someone in the CBF150 Facebook grp DIY himself, according to him power increased and engine feel smoother and less stressed at higher speed

5. Engine noise. Is it loud after 10K mileage? Louder of softer? let say compare to YBR125 or other 2B bikes?

The only weird thing i find cbf150 engine is that its super quiet... on a rainy day, sometimes i don even know whether the engine still running without physically go throttle it, even touching the tank also not accurate, too quiet alr, but i like =)

6. Stock change is O ring type of just plain normal heavy duty type?

Not sure but i tink its 0 ring, u can check with bike shop, they shld know

7. Any one with E21 side pannier mounted? Does it affect handle when mounted with E21?

Many people done it, according to them doesnt affect handling at all but just that u have to be more careful when u squeeze through traffic, i also wanted to do it but u need to fabricate a rack which is around $300 at Seng kwang and not incu

Hi All

Is there anyway to adjust the voltage or wiring or so that the bulb (headlight) wouldn't fuse that easily. I have to replaced 2-3 "High Quality" bulbs (From Germany) every 2months and it's really frustrating. To use the high beam on the day time and low beam on the night time doesn't seem to do any good. Please help. Thanks!

Hi to all senior in this forum!

Just a question to clear my doubt. i was riding my CBF150 recently and feel that when i start cruise at about 60-70km/h i can feel a bit of lost power from my engine. But it not happen always, just once awhile.

It like i close my throttle and on it again or like i pull my clutch when i throttle. What could be that issue? Can anyone advise?

Where u get the bulb from? Mine fused 1 month when I got my new cbf and I replaced mine with the one sold by boonsiew, its claim to be made in japan and it is still going strong since July 2008. Cost me $25 then

Ensure nothing is blocking the air intake under seat.

Just got a 2nd hand CBF150. Then today encounter a problem, couldn't start the bike. After that found out there's a red switch on the right handle besides the throttle, so I just press it and suddenly can start. So maybe I accidentally pushed that switch that's why can't start. May I know what's the function of that red switch?

Also there's a fuel switch on the bottom left of the bike. Heard it's for switching to reserve tank. Should the arrow be pointed up or down?

Anyone know where can I get a copy of CBF150 user manual?

Thanks!

Red switch is the emergency kill switch, pressing it up will kill ur engine....

The fuel knob arrow pointing up is main tank 10L, pointing down is reserve tank 3L....

User manual have to search around online or try to find someone that has it...
