Hi all I am still looking for a swap of faring and tank of my April 2013 cfb150. Mine is red looking to swap with best black or the silver wan also can. Reason is because I don like red colour. When I bought the bike black is out of stock that y I take red. Faring condition is 9.9/10. Interested to swap pls pm me thks.

Also the handle vibrates on a slow speed...what to do?

Both the FC and vibration is not normal... Might be a badly tuned carb...

 

Reserve is 3L, main tank is 10L... Do join our fb grp to noe more!

30km per liter is quite bad. Mine is 5yr old bike with 59k mileage, doing about 50km per liter.

Hi, CBF150 noob here,

 

For the reserve fuel, how to top up? Does it auto top up when i fill the main tank or i need to turn the switch?

 

Sometimes, I heard a loud pop sound when riding? What is wrong with my bike? It is 7 years with 27,000 km mileage.

Hi Nexus, how did the clutch job go? There are way too many clutch changes reported in the last 3 months. Clutches last ( daym where is the info when i need it!?) 70 K ? Nobody talks about clutch cable adjustment and position.

 

Do update cos I very curious.

seriously? i have a new CBF 150 , riding for 3 weeks now, doing only around 30km/l too. Bike is brand new but is in the bike shop for around 1 year before they sold it to me. But it is unused bike, confirmed by the mileage.

Hi Ä° am a newbie to the ownership of a CBf150 but had bikes many years ago (30)

 

Ä° am English but live in Turkey. Ä° chose the CBF because i needed experience of riding a bike in a new country and re-entry into biking after so long off the road!it is a lower cc but has bigger bike characteristics in my view....so far i am happy!! but i am slightly confused by the dealership here because i dont speak their language!

 

Ä°t is a brand new bike and so far i have covered 222kms in 6 weeks!..i have kept the revs below 4000 /50kmph....i am not sure if i can go faster?? ... i also read here on an old thread the first sevice is at 500kms but the dealer is adamant that it is 1000kms or 1 year..which is correct?? another thing do i need to do any oil changing before the first service? (it could be some lenght of time before i do 1000kms and i know how modern oils degenerate in time)

Hi Greg,

 

Faster? Depends on where u ride... for highway the min is 70... i think it is ok to ride at that speed for running in. but don't go above that.

After changing the first oil change which can be 200-500km depending on your preference, i would recommend changing again after another 1000km. Thereafter it would be 1500 km or 3month? whichever comes first. For small cc bikes without old filter we should take care to change the EO more often.

Mine is 94.5k km now... clutch working as normal still.

Suspect misuse. lemon or maybe poor repair job?

30 is too low... i think ave should be more than 35. check again after first oil change.

IF still bad, then you have to get mechanic to check.
