Don't need to get a quick shifter. You can quickshift your bike without quick shifter.

Yes I know that. Just want to check out the price. No need close throttle and no need clutch in features are amazing for quick shifter.

basically correct, consistent with my own search. except that many references mentioned R6S was based on 2004 R6 model.

actually it's easy to differentiate by year of manufacture, for the same year, the looks of R6 and R6S were difference (design, profile etc. coz new stylo look from 2006 onwards where R6S remained as 2004)

another issue, many ppl mentioned that the riding posture on recent R6 is quite "aggressive" since its tuned for higher RMP power and track-oriented.

whereas the R6S is street-oriented and more comfortable for daily commuting and mid range cruising. it also has better power at low to mid range RPM.

At some point of time, our local dealers seems to have problem differentiating them and got them mix up while registering the bike on LTA. The fact is Singapore does not import R6S, and the local dealers who imported R6 somehow ended up registering their R6 as R6s between 2006 to 2009.

R6s is in fact year 2005 and below modeled R6 that was manufactured and sold from 2006-2015+. This does not happens in Singapore and the old modeled R6 have ceased importation since the introduction of the new R6. The older R6 of 2005 and below are classified as 05R6/04R6/03R6 etc etc. No R6s present in Singapore as R6s is for the 05R6 manufactured and sold from 2006.

The current real R6 which was a different bike from the 2005 and below modeled R6, took over the name "R6" officially when it was introduced from 2006.
