removing the cable means, the exup wont be working anymore...

 

exup got few theories...i dunno which one is true

 

1) restrict power at low rpm

2) create more power at low rpm due the restriction

3) reduce noise

 

from my experience, from the time the exup cable was removed,the low rpm feels "lighter".

for r6 06/07 owners not to feel so bad, and not targetting the 08 buyers

 

would like to share some info.

 

the main difference is the YCCI.

 

for the race setup, YCCI is not being used. ycci takes up air box volume and YEC has made a similar air funnel just like in the 06/07 to bosst mid range.

I call up my bike shop, they told me it is here.

Currently doing the paper clearance.

I can get it by next week around Tuesday.

i think amba is referring to YEC making a air funnel similar to the 07/06 model for the 08 model.

YEC had made a modified air funnel/velocity stack for 06/07. for 08, they made a similar product as well. which will eliminate the YCCI.

this product is priced at 300 euro...about 600++ sing.

 

i wont be buying this....but i am considering the NGK racing spark plugs

price at about 240 to 300 sing for 4 pieces. the plug occupy cylinder space,increase compression alittle, and slightly more firepower

hey guy. ask . is Termignoni street legal here ? went unity today.....they offer only micron gianelli akrapovic arrow but the guy say slip on is waste of $..at most 1-2bhp due to our ''box'' and sound juz slightly louder. termogigi exhaust is tasty though...slurpppss

well, the geometery.....cam duration......slipper clutch....aerodynamics...weight distribution....were also improved....the YCCI is just a small detail
