pass the money upon check in.... cos have to pay full upon check in... but u have to pass me addition 5 bucks as the rest have alr passed me... it's for 10% of the room cost to book.. when u meet me just pass me 5 bucks lor... den the balance to be paid in RM when we check in to the hotel..

Re-adjusted room rates. Those that put aeroplane it is standard practise to still collect from you the room rates. But wenxiong has agreed to take over the room from sumann.

 

so per person now each have to pay SGD $ 44 bucks for 2 nights.

hi bros.. im contemplating between getting an 04 cbr600 will lots of accessories n an 08 fully stock r6. im hoping u guys can help me with the r6. $14k machine price isit ok for the 08 r6 with 20k mileage? n wats the maintenance like? (fuel consumption, servicing, etc etc). il be using it as an everyday transport bike n most prob bringing it to track in the future. the r6 is abit above my budget but its so damn chio n its still new lah. so is the r6 worth it? im getting it by this wk so thanks in advance for the replies!

1 vote for 08r6. Unless its the 08 cbr6 then gotta flip a coin.

my brain saying cbr600 but my heart saying r6 leh.. im afraid the maintenance will be alot of diff. cld u be more specific? like fuel consumption hw many km/l full tank can go how far stuff like that.. cos il be using everyday.. oh n also the price.. 14k for 08 r6 is it a gd deal? thanks though for the replies:thumb:

Well i know the new cbr6 is capable of hitting 19km/l. Cbr6 and r6 probably dun have much difference unless u factor in things like cbr6 older so more parts worn out and broken down.

 

Comparing a 08 bike and 04, think no matter wad the 08 still win bah lol

maintenance servicing will be same.. fc-wise r6 should be abt 16-18km/l for stock.. cbr600 i dunno..

 

if its 14k otr for stock r6 08, den i think can buy..

for the 04 blade its 10k but with micron end can, ohlins suspension, brembo levers n some more stuff.. so ur saying 14k for machine price abit on the high side? wats the market rate for these babies nowadays? scared kena chop by bikeshop hahah

If its highway cruising think r6 ok.. lol if u always end up in stop and go will get abit sian sometimes. The power band of the r6 is very peaky, doesnt have much to offer u in low to mid range rpm which u spent most of the time.. therefore making it not so nice to ride on the streets.. although it feels like u pressed the nos button after 10,000rpm

R6 the handling is superb. Light chasiss very easy to flick abt. 08 onwards the lower rpm has been improved. 04 cbr is still using normal forks if I'm not wrong. Not inverted. And R6 comes with stock 16 brembo master pump. Btw 14k for the bike is pretty reasonable....

My vote of cos is the yzf R6

Most important is ur budget to spend evy mth. No point being a bike slave. Evyting depend on the rider riding style n skills. servicing will be ard the same for mostly all class 2 bikes. If u gng to ride long i tink u shld get the r6. Not point spending extra cash n time gng to the bikeshop evytime to get ur bike repair for a cbr6.
