16.5km/l think quite normal for r6 lol..

The bunch of r6 that went KL were always crying for petrol!! Especially SOMEBODY'S race bike.

 

Anyway back home alive from KL, Our pipes are so soft compared to the ducati GP10 bikes. Even with ear plugs my ear feels the pain.

before change tyre mileage was better, once tyre change i was shock too, due to reserve coming so much earlier. thus wish to know more is it due to tyre. but seem this is the only cause i have isolated.

hi bros.. im contemplating between getting an 04 cbr600 will lots of accessories n an 08 fully stock r6. im hoping u guys can help me with the r6. $14k machine price isit ok for the 08 r6 with 20k mileage? n wats the maintenance like? (fuel consumption, servicing, etc etc). il be using it as an everyday transport bike n most prob bringing it to track in the future. the r6 is abit above my budget but its so damn chio n its still new lah. so is the r6 worth it? im getting it by this wk so thanks in advance for the replies!

 

Wah bro $14k for r6 08? So cheap ah? Saw at BP's thread selling FBD plate for $16.8k.. I think 14k reasonable..

 

Im actually having the same thoughts as u. To get either a cbr6 or r6. Of course r6 is bout 2+k diff frm cbr.. But i do love the r6 looks!!

If im u, i would defintely choose r6. Like some bros here already said, its up to ur budjet for the monthly and dont be a motor slave.. O4 model for cbr abit too old n u might end up mostly in the bikeshop.

sure no worries... I would liek to thank all those that made an effort to come and said they'll be coming for the trip and came!! Hope u all had fun. although a very tiring ride.. the ride to genting was fun.. nice cooling weather!!

normally ppl who clock 20k yearly is using it as transport bike. Those that seldom ride then really fierce.

last time R55 full system/slip on is illegal but now motorworld already LTA approved it.i rmmber da slip on already legal but dunno full system already legal or not.its simple, u meet da owner and look at the cert
