I had changed the battery. But the battery just wont charge. Have bring the bike to bike shop and they informed that it was the magnetic coil that was spoiled. After much sourcing, they only can find cbr1000 08 coil which i installed. The original cb1000 had o wait for 1 mth... just wondering is there any problem installing the cbr1000 magnetic coil.

How long have you had your bike? When did you change you battery? Most probably it's just a flat battery. Why change coil? The battery is not being charged by the bike? How often do you ride your bike? My battery last me 1.5 years max. I've changed twice. So far no problem just that the alarm system drains my battery if my bike is not ridden regularly.

cb engine is cbr 07 engine.....

so if u install 07 coil then no problem coz its a same engine

Could the rectifier be the problem as well?

Its scary that OEM coil takes a month to arrive, by the way where u source for the part?

the stator issue of the previous cbr engine is also plaguing the cb1k it seems...

Looking at veinhill.

info that I gather is that all brand are the same. Steel braided.

 

Unless someone want to bring in titanium hoses?
