Wah bros, today is really the shitiest day man. Last Saturday while playing football (field), I fell backwards while tackling some guy, so I used the hands to break the fall. Kena small tears in the ligament for the left wrist.

 

Today supposed to go Alexandra Hospital for review and check up for the wrist, I jammed break outside, JUST OUTSIDE AH there about 15 minutes before my appointment cause the car in front of me suddenly stop to alight passenger. Somemore the part where I jam brake have puddles of water, plus it was raining last night, the rain still haven't dry yet.

 

Bike skidded for about 2-3 metres then fell on the right side, and I flew off the bike, landing about one metre from the bike, using my hands to break the fall again. The brake lever broke off, along with the mirror. Both right signal lights also broke off, and the right side of the tank got dented. What's more, I had just filled full tank petrol before leaving to AH; so all the petrol and 2T kept flowing out.

 

At first I got a shock, cause a bit early in the morning (9.15am), then I quickly tried to get up and lift my bike up. All the fuel rushing out already. After I managed to lift the bike up and push it to the side, I look up and see a lot of cars stop to look at me. Somemore the car nearest to me have this mother and 15-16 years old daughter, looking and me and laughing. Wah pissed man.

 

So I called my mototiam, they give me this tow service number to call. I called the guy and waited outside AH for about 45 min-1 hour before he came. When he came, let him bring the bike up, then tell him to send to my mototiam. Went for my appointment to check my wrist after that, but was late for about 2 hours and still had to wait about 2.5 hours to see the doctor etc.

 

So now waiting for my bike to get repaired and hopefully can still ride like last time ah. A bit sian, but I'll be back! Sorry for the long post, and thanks if you read it through! Just a bit frustrated cause I took leave today, but entire day wasted at the hospital and shop.

Nah I'm okay with the injury during football, cause it's I fall down myself one. But the car which jam brake really bad. Brake already cause me to fall, then the person coming out go back in and then the car drive off. Wah totally no responsibility. But never mind ah I was telling myself, at least I outside hospital. Anything can easily check.

 

To the mother and daughter, I just smile lamely to them then wave to like say I'm okay. Don't know why I did that also, think I was a bit shocked.

 

The towing so long cause I think before that the guy sending another bike to workshop, cause after a while I called him then he said he's coming from BKE there, so should be ah.

 

Anyway, all's well so far. Only have a few bruises and cuts, nothing serious. Even if serious also okay, cause have MC. Hehehe. Just heart pain my bike cause have to spend money to repair and for the towing also.

 

Forgot to add, my those nice handlebars got bent too.

haha the bike shop i went to get my tyre fixed abit wierd. i asked the guy if he got do hard polishing for the engine casing and block he say have but must over haul everything!!!! haahahhaha

Bro, welcome to the thread on behalf of the other kakis! BTW what we usually do with our K, is tat we buy things from all over the island like head light and etc. Then go to fix at our own mechanics of our choice. And you might ask, where to get the stuff, usually we get the stuff @ The United Motors Impex Pte Ltd. 19, Rowell Road, Singapore 207977.

 

Similarly you can go ard ask those old2 mechanics, they might have parts for vintage stuff. You can check out Ah Hee @ Jln Besar there also. Also go to junkyards to find parts. We dun usually go to one mechanic or shop and just put our bike there and ask to mod. We get the parts, some DIY, some ask our mechanics to help us 'plug and play'

 

You can come down lah to our meet up. And ask2, look2, see2 get ideas on wat to do and all. Hope this help bro, anything just ask lah. We try to help u.
