hey guys do you know what's wrong with your bike when it's super difficult to get neutral and change gears?

 

something wrong with the clutch plate?

I just cheanged mine in like july.. how long does an average clutch p last?

My IU unit spoilt. Got a letter from LTA to go check. Went to check then there's a crack u nderneath my IU unit. And the officer say must change and must pay $$$. But the thing is, my IU unit was fine. It went dead a week after my batt was flat. Then went to change battery but then my IU unit nt working. I suspect maybe wiring? So to summarise.... HELP! HELP! What can I do..

I am guessing that the warranty on your IU has expired that's why cannot change for FREE.

 

If you changed the battery for the IU it should work. if not you will have to get a new one. or you can go check out bike shops to get a second hand one for cheaper price. If not you will have to spend $150 bucks to get a new one from VICOM + 5 years warranty.

dats the problem with IU unit... once you buy a 2nd hand bike.... you dono if the IU still got warranty... if no warranty then bo pian ah must change and pay $150 + 5 years warranty. if you want to rectify yourself then..... buy a fuse , or check whether your battary still ok..... if both ok... then its just unlucky of you lah bro

you can try to tighten the clutch cable via the left engine casing here.... how to do it.... i dono ... cos shop did for me!!!!!

then go get it fixed. should be free what. unless you void the warranty. like you spray your IU.. or it could be because you changed batteries at some other place besides VICOM. Cos i think the people at VICOM quite anal about such things.

Tats wat i thought exactly. It only got a crack underneath the unit due to some idiot bang into my parked K and it fell. Then the guy kindly get my bike up but left some dent on my rear no. plate, on my tank and crack underneath my IU.

 

Like tat also consider VOID ah?

I change mine there..... I dont really go to Vicom anymore cos like wat bro Ah Xing said... they are quite anal...

hey guys i need some advise pls.. i bought my bike for like a month or more already. so far it hasn't given me any problems. but the thing is, when i got it my 2t pump was full and up until now its still full.. i've pump petrol like 4-5times from reserve to full tank already. and the 2t gauge on my meter doesn't indicate that theres no 2t pumping in. my meter is working well except for the rpm meter. should i be worried about the 2t thing? thanks alot in advance.

that means your bike is freaking awesome.. save a lot of 2T. if you are worried just open up the side panel to see if you used up any 2T from the reservoir.

 

Alternatively, you can start your bike.. pull out the tube that connects from your pump to the carb. it's on the throttle side of your bike. as your throttle see if any 2T comes out from your tube. if got then you are safe, 2T is entering your engine.. if not.. then you should get your pump checked.
