Hi guys, I posted this in some thread but cant make up my mind to get which bike so hope u guys can give some value info.

 

Who owns a 1st hand Fazer 600 and have been riding until now? What is the major problem u encounter? What is the mileage clock on ur bike until now? How many years have u been riding on the Fazer? Where u travel to? Longest distance?

 

Need to ask some question here:

 

1) What is the fuel tank capacity for the latest Fazer 04 model?

2) How much is the Insurance per year? (I'm 30 now)

3) How much is the roadtax per year?

4) Average maintence fee?

5) What is the longest distance travel after pumping full tank?

6) Ur bike ever break down in the middle of the road? What the problem?

7) What is the current resale value of a 2nd hand Fazer?

8) Do u advice to purchase a Fazer?

9) Pro and Cons to own a Fazer?

10) What is the topspeed of this bike?

11) Is the engine hot when travelling in SG road?

KL, Genting, Phuket, Cherating

abt 2800km (2 way)

 

Need to ask some question here:

 

1) What is the fuel tank capacity for the latest Fazer 04 model?

think it's 21L /w reserve. or u check the website loh

 

2) How much is the Insurance per year? (I'm 30 now)

no idea. i'm under 30. My first party is $998. but u can source for cheaper one lah. Was quoted $820+ last yr.

 

3) How much is the roadtax per year?

$200 (rite guys?)

 

4) Average maintence fee?

so far...only engine oil every 3000km. oil filter every 6000km

 

5) What is the longest distance travel after pumping full tank?

on SG road. 340km without reserve

 

6) Ur bike ever break down in the middle of the road? What the problem?

Of coz not.

 

7) What is the current resale value of a 2nd hand Fazer?

shop quote me $12k. 2ndhand should be >$13k i guess

 

8) Do u advice to purchase a Fazer?

u shouldnt ask fazer rider such question.

 

9) Pro and Cons to own a Fazer?

Cheap with style due to undertail exhuast. hahahh

1st and 2nd gear no power due to the damn gear ratio

 

10) What is the topspeed of this bike?

between 240-250km/h

 

11) Is the engine hot when travelling in SG road?

no abnormality

 

PS: did u ask the same set of question for FZ1?

If that is the case and announcement has already been made then I better wait until 2005 models are officially announced then I commit to Frazer 600.

2mths back i ask dexing, they quote mi around 15.5 OTR for naked version, now dunno liao

last month asked at Southern Motor, Bukit Timah, the sale told me naked & fairing FZ600 is the same price. Now I not sure lah~

juz bought fazer 600. Muz run in mileage till how much? Rpm cannot exceed how much? Any idea? And wats the ideal tire pressure?

and lastly insurance.....ur age make alot of diff...

 

this is just my opinion...

diff shop diff style of sales marketing....

so do ur hmework....cheers.
