Is there any K&N filter around for wave

 

or other brands air filter that are good AND can fit inside wave's air box

 

I dont want use that paper filter, its kind of crap!

are u refering to the knn type open pod filter?? tt kind of filter will make the engine sound nicer..

not sure if it boost up ur speed or not.. but it do make ur engine sound nicer.. ppl who r really into wave will able to differentiate e sound..

What's the advantage and disadvantage of installing a power filter? Must any original part be removed when a power filter is intalled? How much roughly is a good power filter?

It's oni abt $15-$20 nia from LAB..it'll increases ur air-induction thus producing a 'deep' induction sound..increases low-end torque but downside is it'll increases ur FC..proper tuning of the mainjet & pilotjet to improve as a whole..not juz by using an openpod filter to do wonder,it aint possible,dude..

hey bro, how bad will the open filter affect the FC? does LAB do jetting and tuning when they install for u??

is it difficult to instal on wave 110? maybe i'll get from u...

i'm not to sure sorry...didn't install it. i guess u gotta take out the front fairing including the front mudguard then u can reach the airbox. remove the airbox and connect the filter to the carb. sounds easy but it may be tedious.
