Bro, you put up 3 sportsbikes and 1 road bike. So I'd have to assume that you're more inclined to sportsbikes. CBR400, GSXR400 and RVF are all old bikes. The newest plates are probably FP or FQ (correct me if I'm wrong). So be prepared to fork out money for maintenance and repair of old parts. Fuel-consumption wise, for sportsbikes, its generally about the same. The RVF is tops in terms of speed and pick-up. Some say the Kawasaki ZXR400 is on par with the RVF. I don't know about that.

GSXR400 is a really old bike. They come in FK and FL plates too. But they're still road-worthy. CBR400 is slightly newer, but is not on par with the RVF, performance-wise.

Road-bike wise, the CB400 Super 4 is powerful enough for daily commuting. You can accessorise the Super 4 with lots of goodies. And they are available as First-hand machines.

Now, ask yourself this: Are you looking for a transport bike or a performance bike? If you're looking more towards transport, get a CB400 Super 4. If you're looking for performance, get a new Class 2 sportsbike. It's not worth spending more money trying to repair the old 400cc sportsbikes when you'll still be smoked by Class 2 bikes on the roads. G'luck! :thumb:

Bro, if you gonna use for only 1 year as a transition bike, I'd suggest getting a CB400 Super 4. Higher resale value and not much of a maintenance. Great fuel consumption too.

One year from now, you're gonna have a hard time trying to sell of your GSXR400. Plus the wear and tear may have taken its toll along the way. Unless you're willing to stay on 2B until you get your Class 2.

cbr400 vs gsxr400 vs cb400 vs RVF, haha like streetfighter liddat..

Anyway, I recommend a Super4 too. I wanted a RVF, but den i be upgrading anyway, makes no sense paying for cl2-like maintenance for 400cc..

if u tot of riding for a year, i would like to recommend cbr.market price if i'm not wrong not more thank 4.5K

in 1995 when i bought CBRL was 13k while price of GSX R is 15k. after more than a decade price of CBR getting higher than GSX. CBR is more sellable and durable.Till to date we can see it everywhere rather than that gixxer

just my 2 cents worth

TZR125 (FF2643 & FH8788 1992-94
