Peformance wise not sure,but durability yes. Iridium plugs last longer a few time more than the normal ones.

around $150. Spec III uses a 10A battery. The rest using 9A

mmm.. after changing my clutch plates, i still have difficulty changing from 5th gear to 6th gear. sometimes when i change too fast/throw clutch, it will give a loud sound and my bike will free gear until i up the gear lever up again.. very scary sound. what is the prob?

 

Still having this prob... loud sound.. any brothers know wat is wrong? the clutch housing? bearings?

 

My brakes are squeaking too.. do i need to service the calipers? how much to?

[A] Cost 3 x the price of normal plugs? PERHAPS a small increase in power, Not that i can feel the difference while I was using iridium plugs.

last time i pay ard $60 yussa dry cell from unique also..... :)

I may be a new super4 owner depending on all your suggestions.

 

Basically all along i've been riding scramblers (wr200/ktm400/xr400). Not been riding for almost a year.

Now i got an offer from a friend who's "giving" away his bike.

Original registration 28 Feb 2000

FR plate, so i'm assuming this is the last batch of version S (i may be wrong)

Just continue instalment ( left with 4 X $150 = $600 )

Transfer, insurance and all the admin stuffs ownself bear

 

Bike have engine oil leak and coolant leak. Engine oil leak not so bad, will only stain the pants at the shin area. Coolant right now run dry.

 

Not much fancy stuffs on bike. Basically it's just a transport bike.

 

I need to know roughly what is the repair cost. i mean no use if i buy a bike that is condemn (eventhough) very cheap and need to spend thousands of $$ to repair. as far as i know, bike is still running fine. But will the defects give long term headache if not repaired now?

[Q] I need to get a specIII seat but have no idea where to get it.By the way i', riding a spec II.Seat is always being scratched by cats no matter what kind of seat i changed but noticed that the specIII besides me doesnt get affected.I think the material used for the seat cover keep away cats.

 

So any ideas please drop in here...thanx!
