normally veri old s4 vtec 1 and below will have this prob... mainly due to old gasket and worn out rubber, correct me if i am wrong...

My s4 so far so gd.. Occassional checks is impt.. Ask ur friendly neighbourhood mechanic to check ur coolant level, coolant pump and coolant pipe..

go to mass order section...... they have mass order for stainless steel header at $500.... :)

where can i get second hand rim?

front one to be precise..

cos the side loose due to long time never change bearings..

even i change new bearings, it's still loose..

after Project big 1, there was version R. where is the a original front light fairing. looks like RXZ. then after tht. there was version S.

 

So PB1,Ver R,Ver S,Vtec 1,SpecII , Spec III. I remember seeing this vtec model but no vtec inside. cause diff parts of the bike using different version of super 4....and tht was abt 5 yrs ago. Between vtec 1 and spec II.

 

but very few of this so call recon bikes....

I miss my Spec II... :cry: :cry:

[A] you seems desperate for the side covers/fairings..

try our friendly LAB, auntie shop, 219, Chong Aik etc, they should have them in various shape and sizes.. prices wise, not cheap..

Hi, recently i have bought a S4, but the model is under vtec. but bad things is the engine doesn't have vtec component. so find and buy the engine top portion to install the vtec component. anyone selling it ?

 

Bro, dats makes the two of us, mine is also vtec model but no vtec fitted. The front fork is ver s, engine is spec 1 (no vtec) and the body is spec 2. I'm nt too sure abt urs but mine can fix the full stand. So wat spec is it?? I gues we jus call it spec 6 (spec 1 engine + spec 2 body) hahaha.. :cheeky:

ya. tink mine is the so called recon type, but i want the top portion of the engine so that my mech can install the vtec component.

By the way, this bike is under which category of the model ?

Spec 1 or Ver S ?

 

Bro, in mine view its nt worth the $$ to fix the vtec cos alot of things needs to be change, cylinder blk, wiring and the CDI. Changing all these items will cost u a bomb. Btw, wats ur mileage?

anyone know how to check is my front wheel bearing is spoilt ???

there's cracking sound coming out from my front wheel ramdomly, taken out my brake pad to check but it's still thick.

Raise teh front of your bike...grab both the fork lower section...shake lateraly and horizontally. If there is movement...axle bearing gone. If pulling the fork backa nd fore and you hear knocking...your cone bearing gone liao.

 

if its non of the above...it could be your fork internal piston or piston spacer worn out. Good luck.

can't find any ans tru the LTA or Traffic Police website...

More car owners are using Euro car plates, which are considered illegal as their font size and colour do not conform to the Land Transport Authority's (LTA's) vehicle licence plate requirements.

 

The LTA said the numbers and letters on the Euro car plates are not easily distinguishable due to irregularities in font size and colour.

 

Over 8,600 car owners were caught using illegal car plates between 2005 and 2007.

 

International car plates are priced between S$80 and S$90 each, or up to S$30 more than a standard car plate.

 

According to one car plate manufacturer, those who opt for Euro car plates usually want to show their love for all things European. He added that in the past few months, an average of 50 owners per month opted for such plates.

 

Under LTA's Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules, those caught using illegal car plates will face a maximum fine of S$1,000 or a jail term of up to three months.

 

Repeat offenders will be fined a maximum of S$2,000 or a jail term of up to six months. - CNA/ac

if i'm not mistaken, u only can decorate outside the number plate plate. anything inside the number plate will be fine$$. correct me if i'm wrong.

the above pics is wad i intend to put on to my no. plate.

bought this from Taiwan, where a lot of taiwanese put this on their bike rear plate.

my idea is the screw it on to the Top left and right hand corner if the no. plate.

wad do u guys think?
