Ar... I remember you.

You always have lots of computer problems.

 

To format the hard disk, some info needed to know before hand.

 

1. You are about to wipe of all data in you hard disk and install a new Operating System such as WIN 2K, WIN XP or VISTA.

(Please have your serial number or you will not be able to complete it)

 

2. You may want to check you system BIOS if it's able to boot from CD ROM drive.

 

3. You insert the CD into the ROM DRIVE and power on again.

It'll boot from the CD and follow the steps.

 

There is a part whereby it'll mention reformat my HARD DISK. This is where it will do a QUICK FORMAT or NORMAT and then install the OS to your computer.

Oh yes, make sure you have your drivers ready. Such as Sound Card, Graphic, Network etcetc.

u want it thorough, type

format c:

click My Computer

right click the drive u wanna format.. c:\ or d:\ or e:\ etc

click Format

I know it's possible in America, but Singapore (if not the whole of Asia)...that's quite hard to say...

i have a vista and i want to format my computer/ and/or install xp

 

i've put the Xp cd in my computer and restarted.

 

all i get show in the window is:

 

install windows xp(which i cannot choose that option)

perform additional tasks

check system compatability.

permanent solution is to go for a mac
