Dude.. I think u mistook Naz. He only advise u to get Sliders. Not selling his. Sliders are not actually rubber but some other synthethic plastic material. Like the name says, it helps the bike to slideeeeeee.....

 

Anyway there are several sets u can install, front axle , rear axle , swing arm and engine. Total damage around 160 - 220 depending on bargaining power. U could get motovation or equipment extreme. Notice that i dun recommend any other brand so dun ask if another brand is good or not. Some of us have "tested" other brands and it failed miserably... hehehehehe

I would say preference. If you r rich enough...put both lor. One thing for sure, if put guard, some needs to be taken off when changing Oil Filter.

Yes, sliders are normally made of nylon or delrin, Motovation and Equipment Extreme uses nylon, the "motoworld" ones , uses delrin, delrin is prone to sun damage, which will cause it to fade to greyish and become brittle, so if you drop the bike, the slider will crack like an ice cube ..

 

I'm using GBracing sliders, also made of nylon, shaped like a mushroom! you can see if racewerkz have it for the gsr =)

I was merely refering to the material mah , its a fact that delrin has those chemical properties, can wiki it, . Not mentioning any particular brand of sliders are not good ^^.

Hello guys, can I ask a few Q abt the gsr600? Btw gsr600 n fazer6 which is better? For long term use like 6 yrs dwn e road? Frm wat I see I thnk is gsr. 1st Q what is the major prob tht the bike has? How fast can the bike go? I'm nt into speed but frm the top speed can tell the strees point of e machine rite? How's the FC? Full tank can cover hw many km? N lastly what's the machine price for on the road? Coz I don't want to get chop by bike shop?? Thank u so much to those ans my Q.

Sorry for the miscommunication. Think Looi quote me 100+ to 200 for engine guard. Dun know will block oil filter or damage by it bolts or not.

Bro as far as i noe,Yes it somehow does block the oil filter,cause it need to link to the other strutural side from under the engine ,Our Bro ICT have these same problems,a mech needs to everytime dismantle the guard before replacing the oil filter.damage is best if you pm him urself...as far that i noe only his seat is damaged.haha:faint:
