it is for cb400/rvf400/cbr400rr.. T_T but im still thinking whether to sell it or trade it back + top for gsr leovince.. EJ u installed the leovince for gsr rite. hows the sound and performance? is it worth it?

Leo Vince! Hahaha...coz ive mounted both on mine, the Leo performance better than yoshi(49bhp-Leo vs 47-bhp-yoshi)...definitely sounds a lot better! but both was done after tuning with PC3..

Only for 400cc...600cc I dunno.

Hi Bro Slapshock...it could be your front/rear sprockets not stock any more. Stock is 14T (Front) 47T (Back). It looks like its one teeth less for either back or front. I still trying to understand how this works hahah. It would be good if you could tally your Speedo with a GPS. Reason: The bike measure its speed via engine. Any change in sprocket size will affect its ACTUAL speed.

BTW found this out when I did my speedo measurement. Juz change to 15T (Front) and 47T (Back). This is the result (For this test need a straight road and some time as using Handphone and locking + calculation takes time). Travel 100km/h (Speedo) = 100km/h (GPS), 30km/h (Speedo) = 30km/h (GPS), 56km/h (Speedo) = 56km/h (GPS), 98km/h (Speedo) = 98km/h (GPS), etc...... My point is, its accurate, last time got 7% speedo error, now no more hahahha.

Leo Vince! Hahaha...coz ive mounted both on mine, the Leo performance better than yoshi(49bhp-Leo vs 47-bhp-yoshi)...definitely sounds a lot better! but both was done after tuning with PC3..

Only for 400cc...600cc I dunno.

With due respect, not planning to cross anyone line, just need to say this. About Yoshi vs Leo vs any other. Stock (53BHP at engine) horses at wheel will be 85% of 53 = 45 BHP. Thus the difference from BIO is 49/45 = 1.04% & 47/45 = 1.08%. Not even hitting 10% or 15%. Not to mention not hitting 600cc BHP. The difference is marginal and subjective. So my advice is get what you want. Performance still lies in the person (height/weight/guts/etc). Reason: It is quite easy to increase the horses. Juz by making the Air-Fuel mixture richer. I'm think how new the spark plugs and Engine Oil might affect the reading also.

As for sound, I always wonder if put metal whistles what sound it might makes hahahah Confirm higher DB + pitch. hahahah

Not going to any manufacturer's side. Ohh ya another note, to go faster can get higher CC bikes, its cheaper.

If the red engine indicator is called Oil Pressure Warning Light. Thats for EO and not petrol. Can someone confirm this? Anyway if you keep 'abusing' the petrol tank, use until no drop left, get ready moni for new fuel pump. hahaha

safety breifing...

1) remember that riding in a group does not mean you surrender any decision making when it comes to your safety. Ride your own ride, and don't go any faster than you feel comfortable going

2) while riding, don't fixate on the motorcycle in front of you.(monkey see monkey do) instead, remember your basic training. Look well through the turn to where you want to go.

3) on the road, motorcyclists should have at least a 3-second cushion in front and rear (one car length). If you want to keep the group tight, consider a staggered formation. Leave enough room per lane so each rider can maneuver side-to-side if need be. Avoid side-by-side formations as they shrink your space cushion.

That red light is for engine oil pressure. Nothing to do with petrol. I've ran dry before once.

rien d'autre que le max.

For distance (touring) how many teeth is reccomended? Anw im 94kg does that affect my rpm?

just stick to stock settings. I've tried 15 front 45 rear before. Very good fuel economy but slow pick and the front sprocket wears out faster. And chain size stick to 520. 525 is too heavy.

Wonder how is the hyper miler now. Last I heard they're going to export it out to Malaysia..

hi, early in the morning, what temp do u usually warmed up till before moving off?

also how much does inspection at unique cost? - to check brakes, engine etc before going for touring.

I usually warm up till bout 60+-degress before moving off.

Thats because when i get to my bike, i uncover my bike (i cover my bike every night) ,start my engine and i perform the following ritual:

While the engine is running and warming up, I fold my bike cover neatly and compactly and place it in my backpack.

I check my brake/signal/head lights are in working condition.

I check my tires to make sure no one plays punk and deflates them.

I check my clutch if it engages and disengages the gears smoothly.

I gear up putting on my helmet, jacket and gloves.

By the time i'm done with the above-mentioned ritual, about 3-5 mins will have passed and the temp will read somewhere between 57 - 61 degrees.

When i mount my bike i will check my mirrors for a final adjustment.

Before finally moving off, i will recite some doa (prayers) for a safe passage to my workplace.

:D

anyone knows where i can buy yoshimura exhaust and the windshield?

or anyone dekitting wanna sell? - 82004245 Julian

Both can be found at motoworld.

Yoshi exhaust was mentioned last month:

i jus got my yoshi end can install and checked.i ordered direct from MotorWorld who is the direct distributor for yoshi exhaust. and according.. yoshi japan is not gonna produce anymore end-can for '08 model. the one i gotten was most likely the last batch of new end-can according to MW.

we did have a few post earlier in regards to this.. so you might wanna have a look at those post. i would suggest you go direct to MW to check whats the current status...
