Your's gone huh? Don't worry, you can borrow mine when I'm not using it on the DIY. Anyway, you should go down there yourself. KS motors don't give much information while on the phone. Its just opposite of Regina, along Jalan Besar.

Sure . great thanks .. will try at KS .. as its always good to have own one.

If you guys could ever be so kind, I'm in need of opinion.

Which aftermarket end cans are recommended for gsr 4?

Asking around for a friend of mine who just bought himself a gsr 4.

Thanks.

Go search Leovince. There might be 2nd hand Yoshimura end cans available on the market.

I did a google for you:

http://www.google.com.sg/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1SMSN_ENUS412&q=bike+spray+painting&aq=1&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=bike+spr#sclient=psy&hl=en&rlz=1G1SMSN_ENUS412&source=hp&q=bike+spray+painting+singapore&aq=0v&aqi=g-v1&aql=&oq=bike+spray+painting+sin&psj=1&fp=4a340e58007bd65

Here are the top results:

http://www.asianbikers.com.sg/bikeshops.htm (scroll to the middle, got one at Defu lane)

there are many many bodywork shops around. Even if you go to a regular bike shop and ask, they will help you find one. Most bike shops have connections to bodywork shops, so you can try your regular bike shop that you frequent.

Cheers

Hi all,

I realized that my gsr 400 was leaking hot water from the area pointed by the arrow after the heavy shower just now when it was parked on its side stand as depicted here.

IMG_0667.jpg

As you can see, there is a huge pool of hot water. Any idea what is wrong with it because I have not noticed any leakages nor any major variation in the temperature (85-90 degree on normal day, 80-85 degree on rainy and night).

Oh ya.. I'm a new GSR rider and have been riding it for about 2 months.

Thanks!

I think most likely it is your radiator tank got cracked or something... it is made of aluminium alloy according to one of the bike shop that I went. The hot water maybe your coolant. Did you check the level of your coolant? Maybe it is a slow leak, so there are still coolant left which may not show any drastic change in your temperature gauge.

I also noticed that you mount your hella horn with bracket attached to the radiator tank. I was told that the tank is made of aluminium alloy by my bike shop because I too mount my hella horn there. He said that the horn vibrates alot while travelling and the horn itself vibrates to cause the sound, so prolong use of the horn near the radiator tank will damage the tank and rupture your tank.

It would be wise if you head down to your bike shop for an inspection. My hunch is that your radiator tank is leaking.

Cheers and ride safe!

it should be normal, it might be rain water flowing down from ur radiator mesh, heated up and hence feels like hot water. if u notice non-rainy days there should be no leakages right? if there is constant wet-ness even on dry days then u gotta check.

chill man. gsr is a tough nut to crack.

Got my GSR yesterday, enjoying the ride thoroughly. Its such an eager bike amazing. I have a small issue though the right side cowl under the tank, the Velcro has come out wondering if I can just use super glue to fix it back.

I used to have that problem too. The rectangular velcro kept coming off, making the side panel dangling.

At first, I bought 3M heavy duty weather proof double sided tape... last only few weeks then the velcro came off again. Tried contact glue... came off again. However it lasted much longer than 2 weeks. I decided to try again, but this time round I cleaned the surface... scrubbed off the dried off glue from both surfaces(tank and velcro)... then I tried contact glue again (less than $2). I applied much glue this time round and it worked. To be 100% sure, I applied contact glue around the rectangle circumferences of the velcro. Now the velcro is permanently stuck to the tank. Haha.

Thank you nelo and cyrix76 for the replies.

So far no leakages on non-rainy days but its the first time such a big pool of water flowed down from the side...

Anyway, I will bring to Planet for a check.

Thanks for the heads up for those horns! I got no where else to mount it for the time being...

In the meantime, ride safe everyone! Its rainy cats and dogs again~
