Bingo... looks like I am not the only one who faced the rectifier crack problem.

Thanks a lot bro and you too Lexanez, you guys just saved me 300 over bucks for a new coil. I had the same problem. Got the rectifier replaced, the battery and coil are still ok. Phew!

No worries. Gsr is a great bike and love this baby every sec I had it! Made a mental note to squeeze beside razi next time. He needs more love! Haha.

We are all here to help one another especially when our group is quite small as compared to others. So don't feel shy to voice out any problems yeah?

I'm a Tutor! Proud to be one!

You are quite right. Although the GSR group is quite small we are a very helpful community out here. Loving the ride and the total experience of owning a GSR

Based on the Leo Vince Carbon exhaust, its HOT/Warm to the touch, but wont scald or burn you. Logic and common sense will dictate that once you put your hand, or any part of your body for that matter, on the exhaust and feel the heat, u wont go as far as putting yourself there for 10 mins. hahahha. I've touch someone's Yoshi pipe before immediately after his ride.

Its hot, yes; but not hot enough to fry an egg. :D

HAHA gotta make sure mah. lols u know almost all 2B(phantom) bikes when touch untill exhaust = Skin burnt + scar-ed. So for the safety of my gf must make sure the aftermarket eexhaust wont hurt haha

if u mean those velcro pairs with stick tape (instead of sewing), try Daiso (one at IMM Jurong, one at ViVo City)

or the "army surplus" stores at Beach Road

ride safely, ride defensively

if you're talking about the velcro-like things for the side panels, go look for 3M Dual-Lock.

Instead of the normal velcro hook-and-loop (one side hard hooks, one side soft fuzzy loops). It's interlocking hard plastic mushrooms (sounds wrong i know) on both sides, more or less like the hard velcro on our side panels.

As to where, I can't remember where I got mine, some hardware store behind ahboy or my reg place at amk. not cheap though.

Hi all, my GSR's fork top black colour rubber cap are worn off. So roughly how much to spend for replace these 2 caps? Currently there is 1 shop quoting me $150 for service the front fork including change the fork oil, oil seal and the rubber cap. Is it worth to do the servicing at 1 shot? My bike is 3 years old. Please advise. Thank you.

I did mine a month back. $150 also. Didnt go around shops asking for qoutations since i too lazy to source for best pricing and i frequent that shop for most of my servicing. But after some haggling, managed to get $10 off and a $10 voucher for next servicing.

Maybe other bros got other lobang that is cheaper?
