Hi would like to ask if anyone have install yoshi pipe n HnB top box??

Cos I encounter a problem tat is the top box rack is pressing against my pipe although it seems ok nw but scare it might cos small dent in long term. Thanks in advance!

There are a few that I know of

 

PC III - Piggyback method

ICON II - Piggyback method

Rapid - Piggyback method

Teka Mapping - Direct to ECU

 

Above all got its pros and cons. So do your research first. And NO cannot install more than 1 unit on 1 bike. You can try if you want to but I see no point.

 

Meaning if we don't change to aftermarket air filter, the fuel consumption won't be affected right?

 

Btw, what is the normal consumption of gsr400?

So, so far so good.

Any recommendation for which battery would be best.

I really want to avoid any break down of bike .. so even if spend some $$ more .. is fine. But should be a no problem and good quality.

 

Bringing back the question agian. Which was lost over a good discussion on battery voltage.

Now that I have started getting a dead battery after non usgae of a day. And I really dont want to push start the bike on a hot morning day.

 

Any recommendation on battery company?

The best is still the stock battery. You can refer to page one of this thread for the info. The stock battery is FURUKAWA FTX9-BS.

Checked with Planet motors .. they dont have Furukawa .. but have Yusa.

How is it compared to Furukawa?? ANy ideas

 

I need to chenage it urgently .. as the battery drain by morning and I end up pushing the bike for cold start

Heh, i've even called up Furukawa's office in Singapore and they mentioned that the specific battery for our bikes is no longer in production. I would suggest that you head down KS motors to get a Yuasa at a more reasonable pricing.

Wah.... upgrading ah? so wats ur next ride bro? Few of my colleagues upgrading to 2A in a few months time. Some of them eyeing on a GSR400. i'm pretty sure there is a market out there for our bikes. which other class 2A 400c street bikes can u think of except for the ever trusted super4?

 

Speaking of batteries, what makes a specific battery so different from any else?

To my understanding, all batteries are 12 volts. So is there any prob if i were to take any other battery meant for a different bike and put it in our bike? Provided that the battery is able to fit into the compartment of course, slightly smaller dimensions maybe?

And the bike is live again after the change ... it was too ull and I felt like its been dragging to ride.
