Its not easy for the pipe for 600cc to be approved for 400cc. It is similar. The only difference is the badge on the exhausts. 400cc will require the JMCA badge. Do check with Motoworld if that can be done. Else, can only sell it to a 600cc or 400cc illegally of course.

mine is a FBC plate, 3 years old...

 

I too spent a while hunting all the bike shops for a 400. that was the only gsr at looi's. as I was doing the paperwork, another rider was enquiring whether there were any more available. As far as I know, asphoon is out.

 

So far loving the bike and the ride, my only complaint is that the mirror doesn't appear too useful. It tends to warp at higher speeds and is really too small and short to be safe.

 

So a lot of turning head for me, probably will change to some other type of mirrors soon...

Anyone can recommend what tyres are gd for gsr, has gd grip on dry and wet roads? Not too exp.

 

What abt sprockets and chain? Is it true front sprocket is 14T and rear is 47T? Chain size is it 520? What brands should i get?

 

Any durable and bright bulbs to recommend for the headlight? Legal ones. Tks!

Just change to metzeler m5.. E latest tech dat dey have laah..

guys...im helping my fren asking about brake calipers..his gsr400 both front brake cals was stolen at jb..u guys know whats the pricing for a new caliper,if theres and 2nd hand cal and where to get em,and are there any substitute for the brake cal other than the original one?

Metzeler M5 is $440, Michelin Pilot Road 2 2CT is $420, Pirelli Angel ST is $420. I checked the prices for F 120/70-17 and R 180/55-17, am i right? Looks like M5 is the most exp. Think will consider Pilot Road 2 or Angel ST. How abt which one can last longer?

Are there any gd tyres that cost less than $400? Anyone can confirm our stock sprocket size for front and rear? How abt the bulb for headlight, what type r u all using?
