Roughly how much ah?

Not too sure, probably in the hundreds range. You gotta go down to check it out yourself.

KS motors which deals in all things Suzuki is just opposite Gmax which is near to LAB too. As for Guan Hoe, they are the authorized dealer for Suzuki and they bring in the 600s, so probably they are able to get the parts for you but probably at a premium. They are located at 1108A Serangoon Road

Nelo is right. Eugene Saddlery at Jalan Besar produced good work. I did mine, 2 years back due to the seat height being too low for the pillion.

He adjusted the height, added a substantial amount of cushion and 2 tone non-slip material for bout 80 bucks. Pretty reasonable as compared to Juzzwheels. Up til today, I'm pretty happy with the seat, cushy and comfortable for both the rider and pillion.

Or...you could try getting a Bagster Seatster...if you got the moolah

oh yeah another question, lets say i add a second rider to my bike and pass it over to him, is there such thing as i let my insurance company and bike shop know that i'm no longer the official rider of the bike and if there are any disputes like accident claims or the second rider didn't pay installments that they don't come look for me but the 2nd rider instead?

it can be done legeally right as in got black and white from bike shop and insurance company?

Hi All,

I am new this forum and just got a GSR 400 few months back from a fellow forum member....I am planning to go on a trip to Penang and looking to install a Cigratte socket to power my iphone for GPS. Already got the ram mount from JK COmmercial but could not find a place which sells and install the sockets fro GSR 400.

Any help on this will be helpful. Any shops in singapore install them? as i am not so sur about the electrics of the bike and dont dare to DIY.

I would't know what material is it. All I know is that, it does a really good job in preventing the pillion from slipping down. Dries easily too.

I could show you if you like.

Technically, by adding a 2nd rider, it does not liberates you from the liabilities you have over your bike in any disputes.

This is due to the fact that you are still the official owner of the bike as stated in the registration certificate. Also, you are still the first rider as stated in the insurance. However, if the 2nd rider gets involved in any accidents, he will be charge accordingly if he were to cause the accident. Though, he could jump on payment and throw everything back to you.

That is why it is recommended to pay in full cash before sale of a bike.

You could try your regular mechanic after getting the socket? Or if you wish, you could come down for our DIYs.

If you haven't gotten the socket yet, you could try this link. One of our fellow Forumer(Chubbs) is selling these items for 20 bucks each and may be able to provide insights on installation, though he does not provide the installation itself.

I'm guessing you're doing a COI deal. As far as the insurers and bike shop/hire purchase company are concerned, you are the bike owner. So, any money owing for the installments/premium is claimable from you. They won't waste time going after the 2nd rider.

LTA and Police would also hold you as the owner responsible in non-accident cases that are not covered by the insurer. Eg, bike used in robbery. They will go after you. Worst case scenario is 2nd rider play you out and/or has good alibi. :)

Why not sell outright?

Be wary of the source of information for your bike's maintenance. Some FAQs are compiled by people who lack the technical know how.

I see! Thanks!

Because i'm finding someone to COI my previous bike but i'll transfer ownership to him/her. And to transfer ownership have to 3 months of installment as fees but the interested person can't afford to pay the extra so ask me if it's ok just to add him as 2nd rider. Got some concerns of adding someone whom i don't even know!

Maybe i should just wait for someone suitable to come about....

T10 bulbs. You could try getting LED bulbs from one of the CMOs on the forum. They do have white colors.

Yup, you probably should find another buyer. To protect yourself unless it is someone whom you trust.

Hi,

Anyone know where to get the OEM one-seater cowl?

I know Ermax and Powerbronze has it.

Any other sources?

Or anyone has other one seat cowl?

Please advise me!

Hmm, I don't understand why would you wanna put on a single seat cowl. GSR 400/600 is comfy enough with 2 peeps on it, given its size.

In any case. here's 2 more options.
