Saw this in the Advertiser's Board by RaceWerkz. Says something about PCIII and got one put GSR 400 / 600 2008. Any 400 install the PCIII? Coz the main PCIII website do not have GSR400 model. So is it finally someone have managed to map one for 400cc?

he was featured in motoculture magazine's last issue that he's gone to motoworld. but latest market talk i heard that he's now with Mah. This info is yet to be verified though.

so long as the harness is the same; should be using the 327 series.

 

anyway, disadvantage is that there's no stock map so if you're getting a PC3,

you'd need to send it for a dynorun; & dyno again if you make any significant

changes to the setup since there's no database to draw from, so more money

needed, though i think you'll find it's worth it..

Thanks for the info. I may wanna consider if a mojor change is done to my bike, like pipes, air filter and jettings.

before installing the PC3; unless money is no object for you of course.

Guys any idea where i can find a reliable shop dat sell GSR battery beside Ah Boy? I know the stock one using FURUKAWA FTX9-BS... But i want to find other shop that carry in this batt beside Ah Boy... Thanx

guys any idea how u "decide" if ur bike is sufficiently run-in? i've just hir 3000km, done 2 EO (mineral) change and 1 oil filter prior. so is it wise to change to fully synthetic EO now? or do i need to continue running in till 5000km?

open engine & check.

otherwise, go 2nd link & whack all the way from sg custom to m'sia kastam.

if no black smoke, engine still going normal, run in complete.

 

but really, if you've followed a planned running in, the process will be complete

once you've finished the last step.

if you didn't, to you!!

 

in any case, change your oil filter ASAP.

1st 3000km on 1 oil filter & 2 EO changes is definitely not good.

Actually, most shops are reliable when comes to battery.

Its just that you need to know the battery's actual specs and find a compatible battery of other brand.

Alamak, bro, as I SMSed you, already way over time to change.

Normally, run-in you should have had 3 oil+filter changes over the running-in period which is about 2400km or about 800km per oil+filter change. I did 4 oil+filter changes as I was following another school of thought (hard break-in for first 37km followed by factory run-in with oil changes every 600km).

 

But anywayz, just switch over to synth and ride your bike as best you can.

A well-used engine that is maintained properly is an optimum engine.
