for 400, from the link u posted,

sensei racing JPY 84,000 is about 1,097 SGD just for end can :giddy:

WR's JPY 87150 = 1,138 SGD and JPY 73500 = 960 SGD

just end can..

i saw only JMCA on WR's that is approved legal body,

transport from japan will be a killer unless u got relative or frnd coming back.

Yups true, So bro wildcard riding 400cc model? This is the bad thing about having 2 pipes, all x 2. Maybe I can try to ask the distributor for WR's and see what can be done since is has JMCA.

I know that it is a killer to get the end cans. Maybe should try to ask my cuz if she goes to Japan to ask her to get it shipped to singapore.

Anyway I dun mind waiting and staying for 2 days or more at the inspection centres if any of the 600cc models can pass inspection on a 400cc. Hahaha

You can use vPOSTJapan.

They're relatively cheaper than most international mail I've used in comparison.

Alternatively, you can try speak to a retailer here and convince them into bringing the pipes in. Since there are like a gazillion GSR400s in Singapore, the market for a 400 aftermarket pipe is there.

You can Motovation, Motoworld or similar distributors if they are interested.

I'm riding 600. But Giannellis are not on the 'pre-approved' list of exhaust brands in Singapore. Thus I need to go for a full inspection.

As long as the brand & model is really manufactured for 400cc and that its street-legal with the local authorities there JMCA should be compatible with our LTA requirements), then should not be a problem.

But you can't try and whack in a 600 pipe into a 400. Your papers will give you away. Although it fits, LTA rules that its not meant for the specific bike model.

I've written up what I did for my inspection. Might help out:

Ok thankx wildcard. Will try to convince the shops here. Maybe I will try to visit Motoworld and ask them to bring them in. Maybe can do an MO on this also. Worst case scenario will be bringing in the pipes myself and doing the paper works. Hope Motorworld agrees that there are many 400cc waiting for pipes and the market is there.

The WR'S pipe sounds good on 400cc

the sansei one is look better den the wr's one...

Yups it sure does and cost more too. The only problem that I can foresee is that it will not be street legal in Singapore. Will update you guys on the pipe status. Even if I bring in myself.

Is it possible to squeeze a raincoat underneath gsr's seat?

i doubt so bro. but sikonesis managed to squeeze in a bike cover there before. perharps you wanna ask him about his Metro (or Isetan) style of folding.

rien d'autre que le max.

i think the only kind of raincoat that can be squeezed under the seat is those kind of ponchos that u can get from army market for $1-2 :cheeky:

One way to solve the space problem is try to get Doraemon's special 4th Dimension pocket. Confirm everything can carry.

yes. bike cover if folded properly, can squeeze under the seat. but the service manual have to remove.

if need more space for storage, get a topcase or side pannier. a H-pack is oso a good option.

Hi guys, I'm selling off my Puig carbon-look windscreen which I got from Banditmania. Only installed on my bike for 3 days. It looks great and cuts wind buffeting to a certain degree but dun compare to touring-type windscreen as those are much taller.

Reason for selling is that I'm gonna change bike soon - honestly I dunno why I was so tempted to buy the Puig - guess I've aimed it for a long time since I got the GSR.

Anyway I got it for ard SGD$240 after conversion. Hoping to sell at $200 with free installation. Genuine buyers please PM or reply here if the Mods dun mind. Collection and installation is in East area (nearby Eunos MRT Station). Collection time after 7pm.

Will post pics hopefully by today. Thank you for your interest!

What's a H-pack?

For me underseat u put my parking coupon, but i put it inside the plastic casing that came for the manual, scared burn the coupon, hence the bike:P . Manual keep at home :)

anw, i don wanna put top box, not chio sia...side box i cant afford and makes it hard to squeeze. So i got those magnetic bags and stick to the tank. Only problem is its abit heavy to bring arnd. lol

Cheapest option is of course Teka SFI. Tachyon Motors, Looi's and Unity has them. But they are not pretty precise tuning devices.

If you got the cash, then can check out items like these:

Race Werks is another option for this.

c'mon lah people, don't be ridiculous.

nothing underseat will burn; not pillion's asses, not raincoats, not coupons.

i mean, suzuki wouldn't be so dumb as to mass produce a bike with an underseat

exhaust but not made any effort to make it usable at the same time.

that's why there's a heat shield between the endcan & whatever's above.

the only parts that are not really shielded are the exhaust covers, they can feel

hot after a while. of course, the exhaust outlet itself; so make sure nothing

blocks that or something will really burn.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:
