waddup maes......still more deadlines?

rollergal > you could get a vespa from Tong Aik or Roda Dua.....

but it's cheaper if you get from private buyers......

maybe the rest can help out more...

-= Unsure of what to get=-

hmm...tho the intention is really sweet, i kinda think it's better not to get him the px150. haha cos buying the scoot for him means u need to transfer the bike over to ur name, and insurance to urself as well? troublesome in a way..tat aside...

just in case, the bike u got for him isn't what he really has in mind... Bikes/cars always a big boy's toy, probably he has his own plans also. Just my own views lah, still... a very sweet move =)

yup.. i also agree too.

it not like clothes u bought le he dun like den dun wear

if the scoot is not to his liking, u nd to sell if off and do documents with it, quite a hassle.

and if u push back to bike shop, they will carrot you. so think twice before u buy it or better still juz go scout the scoot wif ur bf and take note if he prefers any of it.

yeah grandfather maes, make sure u put them in airtight containers now..n fill it with inert gas

:: gonna get a super-airtight, ultra-waterproof, anti-bomb solid safe with a 24-digit secret code, anti-hijack forcefield, voice identification and thumbprint scanners; you think i can get one of those at mustafah, sungei road or ikea? ::

hey machine_k & maz, I'm also interested in the 2T thingy, recently I had a piston siezure. I changed my piston last year due to a lack of 2T causing a hole in my piston(inexperienced then, new to scoots). After the replacement, i used low quality 2T which cost $3.50 but i've never been stingy with the amount of 2T since then. However, my piston got jammed and the reason given was because i used cheapo 2T. I can't understand why. The uncle staying across my place has been using the cheap 2T for >10 years, he has not encountered any piston jam problems and he is still happily using the cheap 2T. Does speed play a part? I'm not sure how fast the uncle travel though(probably 50km/hr??). I've always been travelling between 70km-80km/hr on my speedometer(So i believed i actaully travelled slower). I am not convinced that the piston jam is caused by the cheap 2T that i used. Can someone enlighten me, prior to my piston jam prob, I had my clutch cable replaced just 4hrs earlier....wave after wave of problems....

Hey bro sad to hear your plight. First of all may i ask u whether u are on premix or on autolube? if u are on autolube maybe its juz screwing u up. Secondly are u on stock or alloy block? A hole in the piston is probably not because of a seizure. it more of ur alloy is running too hot. Gotta use a cooler plug.if not wrong bes8 is ok. Its a short plug that is slightly cooler. But then again short or long plug depends on ur what type of block u are running. What matters is the rating. cold or hot plug.another reason also could be the timing of ur coil. its advanced too much. for alloy its retarded at 20 deg. its a bit technical ah this thing. hard to explain online. it really has nothing to do with the speed u are gg. its cruising speed. i've been on cheap 2t and been doing abt 100 to 110. so that will ans ur qns. Best is u get the timing of ur coil seen by a specialised vespa mech. Its what they called setting the bike. everthing from the jetting, timing, air fuel ratio must be balanced. as for ur case one of them is off. Its juz a diagnosis. may not be accurate though so get professional advise.

cephx> what have a done to my engine? juz the basic. porting of the fuel inlet so the ports on my engine and barrel match. which means im utilising all 5 ports of the barrel. porting of carb inlet. more fuel to go in. Cut up crank. and a 200 clutch. yet to try the re profiled head and lightened pinasco flywheel.
